Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with the Canon T5?

A: Technically you can use the Canon Rebel T5 with the Ronin SC, it is under the weight limit. You can properly balance the camera. However, it is not compatible with the camera control through the gimbal.

Q: 2. Will the Ronin S battery work on this also?

A: Not that we are aware of. The Ronin SC has its own battery grip, which is BH #DJRONINSCP4. https://bhpho.to/2NZN27O

Q: 3. I would like to use it with iPhone 12 Pro plus Moment Anamorphic, Moment Thin case and Promist 67mm filter? it will balance flawlessly?

A: The Ronin SC is really designed for mirrorless cameras and may be overkill for an iPhone 12 Pro. We would recommend considering a gimbal that is geared toward smartphones, such as the OM 4, if you were looking to stay within the DJI product family.

Q: 4. Is this compatible with the Nikon Z30 yet?

A: As of right now the Nikon Z30 is not listed under their compatible cameras. However, as long as the camera body and a lens is under the weight limit, you can properly balance it and still use the Ronin-SC. But you will not have camera control on the Ronin hand grip.

Q: 5. Will this work with a Canon T5i? Are controls compatible?

A: No. The gimbal will work, in terms of balancing, but control compatibility is only possible with the following Canon models: EOS 90D, EOS M50, EOS M6 Mark II, EOS R, EOS RP, G7 X Mark III.

Q: 6. How many pictures per roll?

A: It depends on your camera and what size frame it shoots. The most common sizes for 120 film are 6x7cm, 6x6cm and 6x4.5cm. If your camera shoots a 6x7 frame (like a Mamiya RB67 or Pentax 67) you will get 10 photos. A 6x6 camera (like a Hasselblad 500 CM or most twin lens cameras) would give you 12. A 6x4.5 camera (like a Mamiya 645 or a Hasselblad H1) would give you 16.

Q: 7. Can I switch between the basic modes in Gimble by clicking on Gimble itself, without the need for an app?

A: Yes, pressing the M button on the gimbal will allow you to toggle between the different modes.

Q: 8. Will this work with the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 1080HD?

A: Yes 100%. The following unit has a payload support of 5.5 lbs. be mindful that the original design for this unit is for mirrorless units.

Q: 9. Is the mounting bracket long enough for BMPCC 4k?

A: According to DJI the Ronin-SC is for Mirrorless Photography questions. It will not work with a Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. You will need to look at the larger Ronin-S and an offset plate for the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Ronin-S - https://bhpho.to/2FJgGoG Offset for Pocket Cinema Camera 4K - https://bhpho.to/31mQrjL

Q: 10. Work a Nikon Z50? With lenses? 50 - 250? Thanks
