This tripod was good for photo and.movie occasion And the price is cheap

I've bought nearly 30 of these tripods over the last few years. Mostly for beginning photography students, but also as gifts for family and friends. They offer a great range of positioning options and stand up well under the frequent abuse of beginning photography students. When parts go missing, which happens frequently with students, replacements are readily available. Moreover all screws, nuts & bolts are easily found at any hardware store. Dollar for dollar by far the best tripod you'll find anywhere.

I use this tripod as part of a more portable spherical panorama setup. The handles end in 1/4-20 threads, so it was simple to replace them with 1 inch Allen bolts to eliminate the handles for spherical shots (no masking needed when the handles aren't there). Tripod is steady. It is longer than most portables when the legs are retracted, but you also don't have as many sections to extend when setting up.

I use this tripod for pretty much everything. Its very stable built well but the only thing i dont like about it is the plastic clamps for the legs.

This tripod is absolutely perfect and just what we were looking for to use for small scale video production and photography. It is light, compact, and sturdy, and feels very high quality. Came with a bag, not sure if that was mentioned. The head is very smooth as well. Great Purchase!

Been using this exact tripod for five years. I actually purchased a used the first time around. For the money, it doesn't get any better. Solid construction and exactly what you need out of a tripod. There's opportunity to expand the neck or change the head should you desire. I've spent this much money on just a tripod with no articulating head. I also find it difficult to find dual articulating heads with handles. I'm setting up another photographer with identical equipment to mine and this was my immediate choice for tripod having also looked at the most current options.

Ordered the tripod to mate to a heavy spotting scope. The tripod easily handles the scope, it is sturdy, easy to manipulate, well made and meets my needs exactly. I will use it with my digital SLR and a 300MM telephoto lenses and have every confidence it will be steady and sturdy. I have not found any negatives for the tripod.

I was impress with the quality of this tripod , 3 different legs angles very useful , i was able to make shot even from almost ground level . The head is moving very smoothly and can be use for the video pan no problem .

After a couple of weeks of using this tripod, this thing blows the one I was using (Sunpak 6400PG) out of water. It's a very stable tripod to do lots of things with. I mainly use this to do long exposures of railroad equipment, and this tripod stays put very well. I'd recommend it to anyone. I also like the three-way head a lot because it gives me a lot of versatility (which the 6400PG had with its pistol-grip head) on uneven ground, and if you do long exposures of railroad equipment, you'll know what I mean.
