A: Get the Manfrotto Magic Arm. My gear is a collection of multipurpose tools, and the Magic Arm is one of the most useful in my toolbox. I've been using it to extend the tilt angle of the Apollo Orb. You'll need a weight on a leg of the lightstand to counter-balance the tilted Orb.

Q: 3. How durable is the Orb when using it outside? i.e. wind

A: I have never had a problem using the Orb outside, even in strong winds. The Rapid Boxes do have a stronger build but neither will sustain a heavy impact with the ground and so sandbagging accordingly or an assistant will be needed.

Yes, the Westcott 7 foot umbrella is the same size as my 60 impact softbox or my 60 inch Photoflex umbrella. Softboxes are measured across the FACE not the much larger diameter measurement that Westcott uses. I'm trying to find out if this box is larger than my 36 Photoflex octobox. What is the actual face size ?

Q: 5. Hello, is one speedlight (relative to the size of he softbox) enough to do a half-body to full-body shot? Also another question, 1 speedlight is it enough for a group photo of 3-5 people? Thanks in advance

A: Thanks for your questions. Both answers rely on the amount of ambient lighting. Most modern speedlights produce about 75 watt seconds of power output. To create a half body shot, your 43" Apollo Orb should be 3-4 feet away from your subject, which a speedlight should supply enough power for this situation (may not work in full sun). For a full body shot, your 43" Apollo Orb should be 6-7 feet away from your subject (may require cloudy environment or indoor setting). For a group of 3-5 people your 43" Apollo Orb should be 8-10 feet away from your subjects and a speedlight will not do a great job unless you're in a cloudy environment or indoor setting. The great feature about the 43" Apollo Orb is that it's built on an umbrella mount so it can be used on speedlights, and also more powerful strobes for those times that you need more light output.

A: OK, your not going to like this answer. Yes, it collapses like an umbrella. Pretty small, probably 14 inches in length, maybe 2 inches in diameter. My bundle did come with a bracket, but not a very good one. Kind of worthless for the flash I was intending to use it with. If your bundle doesn't come with a bracket, then no, but that is not much of a loss...

Q: 9. Does this come with a stand? Also how would I attach my speed light inside this set up?

A: The 43 Orb doesn't come with a stand, B&H does have some bundles that would include a stand but the unit alone doesn't. It would mount to a umbrella style mounting hole. If your intending to use a speedlight you'll need a item like B&H # PH87199 to attach to the top of your stand. You flash would mount to the cold shoe on top of this and the umbrella stand would mount in one of the holes with the tension knob. These brackets would out very nice because it allows you to easily pivot and angle the orb any which way. I use it all the time like this. Hope this helps,Ben
