I bought these gloves to use with my DSLR, and they work just fine. The thumb and finger caps opened easily and did not get in the way. But I've found other uses for them: I'm a cycler and they work perfectly for me while on my bike to use my iPhone without taking off a glove - which isn't easy while riding. Similarly, when out walking, the gloves make it easy to operate an iPhone and still keep my hands warm. 5

wanted these for photography in cold weather after reading good reviews. they were exactly as expected - forefingers and thumbs easy to expose but still the rest of the hand stayed warm in 6 degrees C. Such a blessing not to have to take the whole glove off to fiddle the knobs on the camera. Haven't tried them in the rain yet so can't vouch for waterproofing. Having big hands I took advice from another review to get the male version and one size larger than the chart instead of Ladies ones as measured per the chart - worked perfectly. Product seems to be well made and haven't found any gaping stitching or such. Not sure they'd be warm enough for me though in below freezing temperatures. 5

I love when a product comes along that goes beyond its claims.these gloves are well design for photographers in cool climates.they are nice & warm they allow me to easily use all the controls of my camera equipment with no problems.GREAT PRODUCT ! 5
