A: This monitor supports a 4K signal at up to 30fps. You would need to set the HDMI to output at a lower resolution when recording 4K 60fps with this camera.

A: Yes you can. The Ursa Mini 4K has an SDI output which you can connect to this monitor.

A: Yes, you can use the A7RIII with this monitor.

Q: 4. Is there a dc barrel port input?

A: There is not. The power in to this product is handled through the NP-F style battery plate. SmallHD offers the SmallHD AC Adapter with L-Series Faux Battery (US Plug), BH #SMCDCSONYLUS. They also have the SmallHD D-Tap to L-Series Dummy Battery Cable (32") as a solution for using with batteries that have a D-Tap port, BH #SMDTSLFB.

Q: 5. Why is this monitor 350 nits brightness compared to the Focus LCD which is 800?

A: We are not aware of the exact reasons behind why a product is designed the way it is. SmallHD did not design this monitor with a bright panel.

Q: 6. Does the USB port provide power for something like a converter box?

A: The USB Port on this monitor does not serve a purpose at this time. It is there for factory use.

Q: 7. Can I use Sony's EX 1 batteries to power up this monitor?

A: Unfortunately the monitor does not accept Sony BP-U batteries. This monitor is powered by Sony NP-F batteries.

Q: 8. Is this monitor compatible with UHD at 25p ? Becouse in technical paper it says Supports UHD-1 4K at 30/29.97 @ RGB 444 8bit, YCC 444 8bit, YCC 422 12 bit & 24/23.98 @ RGB 444 10/8 bit, YCC 444 10/8bit, YCC 422 12 bit, YCC 4:2:2, 8/10/12 bit color in RGB & YCC 4:4:4 , but not 25p (the european frequency)

A: According to SmallHD it does not. For UHD the only frame rates listed are 30, 29.97, 24 and 23.98. However it does accept PAL frame rates in HD frame rates and in general cameras that shoot UHD are able to output HD only even while shooting UHD. You will still be able to us this monitor with PAL cameras.

Q: 9. Is the power supply feature working with blackmagic Pocket 4K

A: Martin - Unfortunately not at this time. The BMPCC4K draws a considerable amount of power and our power supply through the monitor is not sufficient currently.
