A: The Roland V-1HD does not have any streaming capabilities built-in. However you can connect one of the HDMI outputs to a capture device for streaming to OBS. The Magewell XI100DUSB HDMI USB 3.0 Capture Dongle, which is B&H # MA100USBHDMI , is compatible with OBS and would be a great choice to pair with this switcher for live streaming. You will be able to connect two HDMI cameras to the switcher and then the switcher to the Magewell for streaming.

Q: 5. Does this fit over the foam or is it used in place of the foam?

A: The Deadcat GO is designed to fit over the existing foam windshield.

A: You must take the existing foam off in order to put the windscreen on.

Q: 9. I shoot with a 7D connected to Atomos Ninja 2. Can i output from Atomos ninja 2 to the v-1 hd switcher and it will be clean and nice @ 1080p?

A: I am afraid not. First of all you would need to make sure that your camera has a clean HDMI output, such as the 7D Mark II. From there you would need a field recorder with a Loop Out, which the Atomos Ninja 2 does not have. You would need the Ninja Blade which does have a clean HDMI Loop Out.

Q: 10. Can I daisy chain 2 units? (The 8 input version of this doesn't have MIDI)

A: You could take the output from one unit and input it to another unit. That would effectively give you 7 HDMI inputs. The unit that has another switch connected to it would have 3 inputs with its own signal then the 4th input would have 4 HDMI inputs from the other switcher, for a total of 7 sources.
