Use this Gator Frameworks Round-Base Desktop Mic Stand to mount microphones in a variety of scenarios. It works great supporting a mic for podcasts, broadcasts, voiceovers, and other forms of desktop recording. It's also the perfect height to mic a kick drum or low-profile amplifier cabinet.

Easily adjust the height of the stand with the twist clutch. It'll reach from 9.5 to 14.5". The cast-iron base provides stability. The stand can work with both US and European mic clips. The stand breaks down into separate pieces for mobility, and the base offers nonslip vibration-reducing feet.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this hold a 7 foot wescott umbrella with a 3kg strobe on it? thanks.

A: Hey David,That's well within the weight capacity of the stand and arm. Just make sure that if you arm out the big leg is facing the weight. A large umbrella can mess with the center of balance, even if it is light. If you don't need to extend the arm out horizontally then you are probably better off with a Matthews beefy baby

Q: 2. Will this stand support a 30lb light?

A: Not with the extension arm

Q: 3. any assembly instructions anywhere for this? I bought it and it isn't clear to me

A: I'm sorry, there aren't any instructions for this stand. i would recommend checking for online videos for assembly.

Q: 4. Would this stand be sturdy enough to use with a 24" monitor?

A: Yes. If the monitor you own is 26.5 lbs (12 kg) or less, then yes, the Avenger Roller Stand 17 with Folding Base (Chrome-Plated, 8') would be able to support your 24" monitor. If your montior uses the VESA mounting system, you may purchase the 9.SOLUTIONS VESA Mount to 5/8" Receptacle (Large), B&H # 9S9XV1024, which will hold a monitor that weighs up to 66 lbs (though do remember the stand only supports up to 26.5 lbs), or you may purchase the more economically-priced Kupo Super Knuckle VESA Monitor Mount Kit, B&H # KUKG037511, which supports monitors up to 17.6 lbs, or the Impact ME-108P Monitor Mount Adapter, B&H # IMME108P, which supports monitors up to 14 lbs.

Q: 5. Is this stand capable of safely holding a Hensel Integra 500 light head?

A: I use them to hold my Profoto B1 and D1's with large softboxes on without any problems. This would support your setup.

Q: 6. Could this be used as the base of a table where the top surface measures 36" x 16", a 20" tall double riser column (extended to 30") serves as the leg, and the entire load weighs about 15 lbs? Or would this idea be complete madness?

A: No, the following is a light stand base not a table base.

Q: 7. Is this c-stand spring-loaded?

A: No, it is not spring loaded.

Q: 8. The bottom connection is 3/8"-16? Will this work with the Benro 3-Leg Locking Base For Monopods

A: Yes, you can attach your Benro 3-Leg Locking Base For Monopods to the monopod included with iFootage RB-A300 Cobra 2 59.4" Round-Base Monopod.

Q: 9. The twist knob on mine seems to be locked so that I cannot actually mount anything to the stand. I'm new to the Avenger brand. Try as I might, it just won't turn. Is there some trick to these?

A: The knob is should simply be turned to the left to retract the screw inside, allowing a column or pin to be inserted into the junior receiver.

Q: 10. Is there a way to mount 2 grip head / arms to one C-Stand? Wanting to put two flags in a V and hoping to just use one stand if possible :)

A: You would be able to hold a second arm with the use of two items https://bhpho.to/2Fj4S1N and https://bhpho.to/3ij7ivD.
