Q: 1. Does this include the power supply?

A: Dear Nathaniel, This is Jules from product support at Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor for your region. The MD-LX is supplied with a power adaptor for use in the US, Europe and UK regions. I hope this helps. Best Wishes Jules

Q: 2. Is there any latency in the conversion ?

A: The latency is not going to be a concern with this converter.

Q: 3. Does this reclock the signal as well?

A: Jake, I cannot see anywhere in the literature where it says that the HDSDI input will be reclocked; so I would have to say no, it does not. This is the dumbed down version of the MD-HX--to offer a less expensive conversion of a HDSDI signal to a HDMI one--or the reverse. Poor thing can't do everything! It's powered my a micro USB connection--cut it some slack. =

Q: 4. What is the weight of the unit itself, without the cardboard box and packaging?

A: While the exact weight is not listed, the box it ships in weighs 0.73 pounds. We would imagine the unit will be only around a half pound or so.

Q: 5. Is it possible to connect an SDI-in and it simultaneously releases SDI -out and HDMI-out together?

A: Yes. Setting can be changed via usb control panel. According to manufacture you can connect an SDI-in and it simultaneously releases SDI -out and HDMI-out together with no control panel setting adjustments.

Q: 6. Does any of those works for rode nt4?

A: Unfortunately even the largest Rycote BBG Windshield (0.98" diameter) would be too narrow for the Rode NT4 (1.3" diameter).

Q: 7. How many MD-LX can I daisy chain? In need to feed an HDMI signal to 6 TVs about 40' between each TV. I want to loop from one to the next via RG6 then drop of the MD-LX to each TV. Will that work?

A: In theory there should not be a limit to the amount used as it will re-clock the signal.

Q: 8. Will this unit convert 1080i 50 to 1080p 50?

A: No. It simply maintains whatever format is input and converts to SDI or HDMI.

Q: 9. Is HDCP compliant?

A: Yes, it will pass an hdcp compliant signal. Just remember to make sure that everything else in the chain is hdcp.

Q: 10. Is it USB Powered?

A: Yes!
