Powerful and precise while being compact and lightweight, the COAST HL7 Pure Beam Focusing LED Headlamp is outfitted with an array of features to make it highly versatile and customizable for professionals and outdoor enthusiasts who require precise beam intensity and size to get the job done right.

It has an output range from 4 to 305 lumens with a variable control lever that allows you to precisely set the brightness anywhere between, so you always have the exact amount of light you need. The beam is also focusable so you can light large areas right in front of you or far up the path—while leaving both hands free to perform all tasks and jobs you have. The angle of the light head tilts down for precise beam placement to fully illuminate where you're working.

Weighing just 4.4 ounces, the light won't cause neck strain or discomfort while wearing it, and it comes with an adjustable headband. To help distribute the weight more evenly, the batteries are placed in a separate case on the back of the light, which makes the light more comfortable to wear for extended periods without slipping forward when you're leaning over. The housing is IP54-rated to be water resistant against inclement weather such as snow, rain, or just splashing water. The HL7 comes ready to use with three AAA batteries and a set of hardhat clips. I really enjoyed this headlamp. It can be turned up very bright, but can also be dimmed for times when you’re reading a map, for example. It’s very comfortable, I like that the batteries sit in the back, tilting up and down is very much appreciated. A very good price for everything you’re getting. It even saves me on electricity, because I wear it rather than leaving lights on all the time. 5

Great product by Coast. Easy to adjust the focus with gloves on and hit the buttons. Little plastic piece that connects the light to the band needs an upgrade but their warranty is excellent so I have no complaints. 5

I use this light every night and have every night for the last few years. I work aircraft maintenance and find the ability to change the brightness and beam width really helpful. If I’m in a small confined space trying to see something an inch from my head or changing a tire I’ve got the light I need to see what I’m doing. These lights also take abuse from being thrown around stuff in tool boxes. Out in the rain or snow or -30 degree temps this things never let me down. Best part is the company knows then put out a quality product and they stand by it!! 5

These are one of the best options available. Everything you could want - adjustable beam, tilt, intensity. This headlamp is light weight on the front of the head also. 5
