Q: 1. what accessory do I need to mount my android smartphone to the Joby 1K Kit GorillaPod?

A: I would recommend the Xuma smartphone mount, click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/3fPdU3Q

Q: 2. Is this compatible with a canon eos M50 with a 18-155 lens?

A: The camera and the lens weight 1.14 lbs / 517 g well below the capacity of the Joby GorillaPod 1K Load Capacity: 2.2 lb / 997.9 g.

Q: 3. Which version of the 3k should I buy to mount the GODOX 860 speedliight, and what accessory do I need to mount that flash to this gorillapod

A: I'd go with B&H # JOJB01507 because it has a small ball head for easy control of flash positioning. All you need to get your flash on there is B&H # VECS

Q: 4. Can this tripod hold the weight of a Panasonic GH4?

A: 100%. I use it for my d7000 with a really heavy lens a lot. I think a GH4 would be no problem at all.

Q: 5. Will this survive being used in salt water?

A: I would not recommend it, grit will get into the gooseneck sections and will be difficult to clean out.

Q: 6. will it work with an Olympus OMD EM1II?

A: The JOBY GorillaPod 3K Flexible Mini-Tripod with Ball Head Kit is rated to support more than 6 pounds. Most of the time an Olympus camera and pro level lens would weigh 3-4 pounds.

A: Since the Cotton Carrier and the Gorillapod use and Arca type quick release, yes they should work fine together.

Q: 8. Can I use the BH-30 Ball Head with this? Or do I have to buy an adapter?

A: Yes you can right out of the box. The Really Right Stuff BH-30 head has a 3/8"-16 thread for attachment to a tripod. This GorillaPod includes the needed 3/8"-16 bushing out of the box.

Q: 9. Ordered and rec'd this tripod recently and it will likely work out well for me. I'm wondering about using it at the beach. Would you have an idea IF the sand would get into the joints of the legs and end up being imbedded and 'gritty'? Thanks

A: Yes. sand will get in the joints but the joints come apart. Nothing a quick rinse and wash cant fix.

Q: 10. Can I attach my Litra Torch 2.0 to this without an adaptor?

A: Yes, you can attach the Litra Torch to the JOBY GorillaPod 325 Flexible Mini-Tripod with the 1/4"-20 screw hole on the Torch.

It screws on and off smoothly with no binding. It was great that B&H had this size.

I found that this ring meshed smoothly with my Canon lens and B+W filter. For me, there is no reason to pay more for a step-up ring.

There is not a lot to write about such a simple product. It does what it is supposed to do: step a 58mm filter down to a 52mm filter ring.I have a lot of Canon FD lenses which use 52mm and the majority of my fixed EF lenses use 58mm. I carry very little because I would rather photograph than cart gear around. As such being able to use a 58mm for both old and new lenses helps a great deal. It also helps with donated or borrowed equipment. This step-up ring is as well built as a cost effective option can be but does not seem flimsy to me. It holds the filter well. I find a little oil from the body (back of the ear or side of nose) rubbed on the rings help a lot with threading and removing the filters and preventing binding. I would purchase more of these in other sizes, as needed. The product is also very lightweight. It is almost un-noticible being carried in a shirt pocket. I am very pleased.

It is lightweight and sturdy. Threads are pricisely made. This helps me to mount my 67mm lens to a 82mm mounting need.

Helps leverage an expensive circular polarizer across multiple lenses cheaply but effectively.

It's a metal step-up ring that allows me to use my 67mm filters on my 52mm lenses. It fits my needs so there's not much else to say about it.
