Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the Logos are printed on both side or just one side?

A: The RODE PSA1+ Pro Studio Boom Arm features the Rode logo printed on both sides of the sleeve.

Q: 2. Is there any place to put a hydration bladder?

A: I would strap it to the outside.

Q: 3. Does this bag have a water bottle pocket?

A: The Tamarc Arc Waterbottle pouch attaches to the M.O.L.L.E. straps on the side of Anvil 17 bags.

Q: 4. Can the base be mounted to a 5/8" stud or receiver?

A: The RODE PSA1+ Pro Studio Boom/Arm comes with a compatible flange-mount base so you can choose whether you want to use the clamp or the flange mount. The tip to attach the microphone has a 5/8"-27 thread.

Q: 5. Will a Fuji gfx 50R w/ L-plate attached fit?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 6. Would this bag hold two cameras with battery pack attach (Nikon cameras D810's ) to the cameras?

A: Yes.

Q: 7. Will this fit in the overhead compartment on a plane?

A: The FAA requirement for carry on bags is 14 x 22 x 9 or 45 in total volume. The Anvil 27 measures 12.2 x 20.9 x 9.8 , so you should not have an issue.

Q: 8. Is there any place to put in a sweater and a cap along with the gear in the anvil ?

A: The Anvil 27 has a roomy outer zippered pocket that extends nearly the full length of the backpack that can be used to store a sweater or a light jacket. You could also stuff a cap, gloves, etc in there as well.A cap with an adjustable strap that comes apart could be attached to the top handle (assuming you are not carrying a tripod that is attached to the back of the pack - I attach mine to the side using a lens case on the bottom attached to the lower side strap and some custom straps I made to hold the tripod at the top, for better weight distribution.Answered by Dennis H. Q: 9. Would it be possible to fit a 16.7 x 13.1 inch laptop? I dont care if it has to go into the camera compartment. I will just use a camera with a 24 70 and 70 200 f4. But i really need to carry that laptop and some clothes.

A: you probably could get it inside the camera compartment, but I would not recommend it. It will be very difficult to get it in and the padding on the sides might not be enough to protect it.

Q: 10. How would one go about mounting to/on a c-stand? Any ideas?

A: The RODE PSA1+ Professional Studio Arm is not designed for use with a C-stand. It relies on a stable connection to a desk or table to maintain proper tension for its spring, and mounting it on any type of stand would not be recommended.
