  • For use in panels, boardroom applications, and videoconference situations, the DPA 4098 offers trouble-free installation and delivers pristine, clear sound.
  • The mic reproduces crisp, intelligible speech up to the standards of demanding professionals and panelists, including interpreters who need to be able to clearly hear a speaker's every nuance.
  • The supercardioid polar pattern focuses audio capture tightly on the person directly in front of the mic, picking up less unwanted background sound and helping to reduce feedback when loudspeakers are used for sound reinforcement.
  • The microphone capsule's consistent off-axis response means that speaking into the side of the mic doesn't make the audio sound worse, it just drops the voice level.
  • Even passionate speakers are no problem for the 4098; the capsule can handle loud speech at peak volumes of up to 133 dB SPL before distortion occurs.
  • The factory-mounted foam windscreen helps to reduce breath and plosive noise.

  • The 4098 is available in a variety of configurations for use with podiums, desks, and tabletops; and the shorter models can be mounted in the ceiling.
  • Elegantly designed, the low-profile appearance is well suited to videoconferencing and public announcements.
  • This version features a 30" boom with top and bottom gooseneck sections to provide optimal positioning for use with a floor stand (available separately).

Q: 1. I know what this boom arm can supposedly support 15lbs at its max. extension, but what is the load rating at its min. extension? I'm trying to hold a Westcott Zeppelin above and angled over my subject, but the parabolic shape hinders its ability to be angled downwards. As such, I am resorting to using a boom arm to lower its angle. As such, I will not need the longer extensions and want to know how much this arm will hold at its shortest length. I'm looking to hold the Zeppelin 47 , with the Bowens bracket, as well as the focusing rod and the Bowens speed ring to hold my attach my Phottix Indra500 TTL. I think the total weight is something around 17-19lbs.

A: At minimum extension the load capacity is about 66 lbs

Q: 2. Can the stud be removed? or do I need an adapter to attach a tripod head?

A: NO, the stud really cant be removed. It's basically a C-Stand without the base.

Q: 3. Is the HDMI connection on the monitor a Mini, or, regular size HDMI port?

A: Regular size HDMI port on the screen.

Q: 4. How do you charge the battery that is included with the monitor?

A: This Lilliput Monitor has a built in battery that lasts 3-4 hours. You will be able to charge it with the included AC Adapter.

Q: 5. What would I need to mount a small Canon DSLR on the end, for birds eye view photos of clothing?

A: A simple camera platform, like this one: https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/5184-REG/Manfrotto_143BKT_143BKT_Camera_Platform_for.html?sts=pi target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/5184-REG/Manfrotto_143BKT_143BKT_Camera_Platform_for.html?sts=pi/a

Q: 6. Is there such a thing as this but maybe 6" shorter? It's just a little too much for my bag and the often tight areas I shoot in.

A: The shortest boom that we have to offer is the Westcott Mini Boom Arm & Weight Bag which comes in at 31 to 57" and supports 11lbs. Westcott Mini Boom Arm & Weight Bag BH #WE9940 • MFR #9940 bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1538317-REG/westcott_9940_mini_boom_arm_and.html

Q: 7. Will this hold a Profoto B1?

A: Yes, easily!

Q: 8. Just wanted to ask if this will work on the Avenger A2018F C-Stand, and if so does it require any type of attachment?

A: Yes, this boom arm will work with all standard c-stands (including the A2018F C-Stand) without the need for any kind of adaptor.

Q: 9. Does a 5/8"-27 microphone mount / clip adapter come with this?

A: No, the Avenger D600 Mini Boom (Chrome-plated) does not come with a 5/8"-27 microphone mount / clip adapter.

Q: 10. The payload is 7kg, does the "payload" include the counterweight? If not what is the max weight including the counterweight that you can use?

A: Yes, the payload would factor in the counterweight on the D600CB.

Love the K&M mic stands that I own! Well built and well worth the money for these babies! I would definitely buy them again.

I'm a musician who performs and records, and K&M stands are my favorite by far for live situations and in the studio. The construction is solid and reliable, and when you pay a little more for something because it's made better you tend to take care of it more, and I definitely have with the first K&M stand I purchased almost 3 years ago. My only issue, but I find this with most mic stands, is that the joint where the boom meets the stand never seems to get tight enough to support a large capsule condenser. But, like I said, most stands I've come across gradually droop a bit and overtightening just ruins the rubber gasket. K&M is my new favorite stand!

I've used a lot of mic stands and find this one to be very sturdy and light weight. I am able to attach my iPad clamp (with iPad), popper stopper and microphone shield during studio recording without a problem. Definitely a good buy!

I just bought three of these to keep in my trunk with my road PA. Very well made (steel parts where other mic stands usually have brass or plastic). My engineer brother (who is very picky) plans to buy several. Much better deal for the price than competing mic stands in my opinion.

I use it for recording school choirs and plays. Does the job well.

I livestream a number of professional seminars and needed a mic stand that didn't have a heavy base. This stand folds up neatly and is easy to carry. I wouldn't recommend using this for a musician that plans to bang it around, but for a stationary mic that stays in one place, it's perfect.
