$195.00 $294.45

The 62mm Urth Circular Polarizer Filter cuts reflections, boosts color saturation, and increases contrast by cutting out reflected polarized light. Polarizing filters cut out polarized light, which usually washes out images with silvery reflected light. CPL filters cut out 99.9% of reflected light from water, glass, and nonmetallic surfaces, uncovering bolder colors.

The 62mm CPL filter blocks diffused light from any direction. Simply rotate the outer element of the filter to adjust the level of polarization based on the direction of the light source. CPL filters give you greater creative control when there is excessive reflected light as in outdoor photography and filmmaking. All Urth CPL filters are built with premium quality materials, are guaranteed for life, and come with a protective travel tin case, a recycled cleaning cloth, and recycled plastic-free packaging.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. thanks for BEST ANSWER: Yes this will work on a DX body, it will be more like 12mm, fun lens to play around with. but I need it for panorama in minimum shoots?

A: I use it on a DX body for shooting standard spherical panoramas and spherical panoramas for Google Business View. It's the only lens that Google has approved. It's perfect for shooting spherical panoramas. With a DX body you will need to shoot 5 or 6 images plus the zenith and nadir.

Q: 2. Will this hood allow using the original lens cap?

A: Yes, it will.

Q: 3. If I mount this onto a full frame film camera (leica M6) with an adapter - will the image still be circular? Or will it be distorted/warped?

A: Although there are no adapters to mount this EF-M lens to a Leica M6, it would produce a circular image.

Q: 4. I am wondering if this lens will work on a Nikon D2XS

A: The Sigma 8mm f/3.5 is compatible with the Nikon D2XS.

Q: 5. is it compatible with Lumix G7?

A: Yes, this lens is compatible with the G7 and will produce the classic circle on black image associated with fisheyes.

Q: 6. Is this lens compatible with the canon eos rp? if not, which fisheye lens is?

A: The Sigma 8mm f/3.5 EX DG Circular Fisheye Lens for Canon EF is not directly compatible with the Canon EOS RP Mirrorless Camera, as the lens is EF-mount and the camera uses the RF-mount. While this can be used on the camera with the Canon adapter, you may need to use manual focus for best results. Currently there aren't any autofocus native mount lenses, so adapted with manual focus may still be the best route to take. Alternatively you can check the currently available manual options linked here: https://bhpho.to/3SWVMZy

Q: 7. Possible to get a short video clip to see the effect of the 190deg please?

A: Here are three video reviews. https://bit.ly/2DMJTku https://bit.ly/2sX14JV https://bit.ly/2sXmQx1 Here are posted still images https://bit.ly/2DKY2OZ

Q: 8. Confused about the 62mm vs. 82mm reference. Will this connect easily to the Sony Z-150?

A: The 62mm thread is on the rear of the converter for attachment to the Sony Z-150 lens. (You must remove the sunshade to do so.) The 82mm refers to the front of the converter and is the size of round filters you can screw on to it.

Q: 9. Will this work with the SL1?

A: This lens has an EF-M so it will only work on Canon EOS mirrorless bodies such as the EOS M50. The Meike MK-6-11mm f/3.5 Fisheye Lens for Canon EF is compatible with the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 and its EF/EF-S mount. https://bhpho.to/36eSiKy

Q: 10. If I mount this to a full frame film camera (Leica M6) with an adapter - will the image still be circular, or will it be distorted?

A: The image would be more distorted than fully circular, but you will be reducing the effective area used, so it will look more like distortion than a circular look.
