Focus and control your light with this Fresnel Studio Series LED4000 Bi-Color Light from Dracast, which offers built-in DMX for remote adjustment of the light's settings - a valuable feature to have when the light is out of reach. The light is projected from a powerful LED source with a CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering, and the fixture offers a Fresnel lens that allows you to focus the beam from 15-60°. The bi-color model offers a variable color temperature of 3200-5600K, so you can quickly and easily balance the fixture with both tungsten and daylight light sources. For direct control, you have access to an LCD display and control knobs to adjust settings, including dimming from 0-100%.

The LED4000 is easily mounted onto stands using its included yoke, and it comes with a universal 100-240 VAC power supply for operation worldwide. It has a hefty, rugged construction for durability and comes with a set of 4-leaf barndoors for light control.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the output equivalent of these lights when compared to the Tungsten standard, i.e., 1K, 2K, etc.?

A: LED lights in general and like the Dracast Palette TrueColor LED4000 Soft Panel are not rated in watts. LED lights are rated in Lumen, Lux and or FootCandles. The rating on this light is, 2800K: 994 fc / 10,700 Lux at 3.3' / 1 m 5600K: 825 fc / 8890 Lux at 3.3' / 1 m My guess is it is like a 500-750 watt tungsten light. But does not have the same throw.

Q: 2. I have a couple of these and I'm wondering what people are using for travel cases. Thoughts?

A: There are many cases that can hold at least twp 1x1 light panels. Some of them are listed below.

Q: 3. How long does the battery last?

A: It depends on the battery. All the batteries for any of our lights come in a variety of capacities. The basic formula is: One Watt-hour (Wh) powers one Watt for one hour.So for the LED1000 Pro (all versions), which pulls 60 Watts, if you had a V-mount battery that had 90 Wh, it would power the light for approximately 90 minutes at full brightness (more if the light was dimmed down at all). // Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at support@dracobroadcast.com.

Q: 4. What are the TLCI numbers? More specifically, what is the complete CRI standard (R96a, or CRI Extended...)?I will not buy any light without knowing how it compares to the old standard of tungsten. Yes, the CRI of tungsten can reach 98 but that number is not based upon measuring the quality or saturation that I require. I am most interested in R9, R13, and R15 as per skin tones.

A: We are a little backed up on getting the detailed TLCI and/or CRI numbers. We will be making that information available as soon as we can because we realize that some users have needs that require that knowledge. --- In the meantime, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at info@dracobroadcast.com.

Q: 5. When were these lights released?

A: The Dracast X-Series 500 Bi-Color LED Panel 3-Light Kit with Hard Travel Case BH #DRX3500BNH was released 2020.

Q: 6. Does this kit come with a power supply for each light?

A: Yes, a power supply is included for each panel.

Q: 7. do barn doors come in this kit?

A: Unfortunately, the dedicated barndoors for these LED units are not included in the kit. Please follow the link to the barndoors: a href= http://bhpho.to/161ddQ4 target= _blank http://bhpho.to/161ddQ4/a

Q: 8. What is the total weight of this kit including the bag and stands?

A: The shipping weight of this kit is 48Lbs.

Q: 9. If needed, is U.S. repair available for these lights? I have two lights from another manufacturer that I have to throw out because they do not have repair services. Not going to buy from a company like that again.

A: Draco Broadcast is located in San Jose, California. Returns/repairs would be sent to San Jose, California.

Q: 10. When a battery is attached can the power cord recharge it ?

A: Unfortunately, no.
