Q: 3. Has anyone used the merging 2 with the MagBoc 42 pro? Did you have any issues with additional weight or problems during use?

A: Thank you for the question! With the introduction of the new MagBox Pro 42 Octa, 36 Strip, and 24 Octa in 2021, our customers continue to push the limits in how their gear is used. A few photographers using the MagBox Pro 42 Octa with the original MagBox Speedring adapters have experienced, at times, weaker magnetic performance than expected. This issue is isolated to a small production batch of the original MagBox Speedring adapters (not the MagRing) that didn’t meet our design specifications. The design of the new MagBox Pro Speedring resolves these strict product requirements to ensure super fast MagBox mounting as well as rock-solid magnetic mounting strength. If you have experienced any negative performance of your original MagBox Bowens Speedring, we would be happy to replace it with the new MagBox Pro Speedring at no cost to you. To submit your request, please fill out the form linked below. Once our team has reviewed the request, we will verify eligibility and work quickly to get the new replacement product to you as quickly as we can. https://magmod.typeform.com/to/R0x86ihO?typeform-source=www.google.com
