A: I use a 8 ft wide x 20ft.long Savage white vinyl background which gives me a little room on either end of the support I then run the long side from top of support to 5 or 6 ft.on the floor to position my posing stools.

A: No, it is not recommended to cut the Manfrotto Panoramic Background (13', Chroma Key Green) into separate panels.

Q: 3. Aside from the price and colour, what are the differences between the Manfrotto 272B Adjustable Background Holder (108 ) and the Manfrotto 2983 Adjustable Background Holder Crossbar (108 )?

A: I only have the 272B Holder. If you want to use a short roll of paper seamless (or long roll, too) you have to remove one of the ends with an allen wrench. The rolls do not fit over the stand connectors.

Q: 4. Those the Background Support System expand more than 9' feet?. Wonder if can expand to 10'

A: This system can be extended to 10'. That is the max. It a sturdy system also.

A: I don't see why the 272 or 272b isn't sturdy enough for most backdrops. However, an alternative is to buy a couple grip heads and run 10' of schedule 40 pipe between them.

A: The cross bar can handle it if the roll is cored.

A: The crossbar accepts 9.5mm spigots, the speaker stand uses 35mm spigots, you probably better off getting proper lights stands

A: The manufacture does not list the specific size of the clip. But it seems to be approxemelty 1 inch.

A: Trial and error will help you figure out the best way to handle it. Hint - lay each section on the floor and crawl around it to assemble/disassemble. Use velcro straps to secure each section before putting in the bag. Folding it up is rather like refolding a map!
