The Kaiser 58mm Push-On Lens Cap is designed to fit any camera, enlarger lens, binocular, tele-, micro-, or spotting scope lens. It is for lenses having a front or rear ring with an outside diameter of 58mm. The cap should fit snuggly but not so tight that it is hard to remove.

A: Unfortunately the Kaiser push on cap will fall off the ZS100. When the camera is turned off, the lens is retracted. The ZS100 has a built in guillotine style lens cover that automatically covers the lens when powered down so an accessory lens cap is not needed.

Q: 6. will this lens cap fit my 85mm 1.8 canon lens?

A: No. It's too big to fit this lens. The 85mm will fit 82mm filter thread. I think you will need the 61mm Kaiser cap

A: Yes if you measured the outside diameter of the barrel and it was 85mm

A: The Leica APO-Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH lens (Black) has an outer diameter of 53 mm, so the Kaiser 53mm Push-On Lens Cap should fit.

Q: 9. Is the inside diameter dimension of this cap exactly 100mm?

A: I shrunk this lens cap in the oven to about 97mm to fit my Tiffen ND Filter nice and snuggly. Put it on wax paper and pop it in the oven at about 140 degrees C monitor it closely. Took about 10mins to shrink it! Stay close to the oven and make sure tou dont melt it though!

Q: 10. Will this fit the Olympus 300 mm f/2.8 for 4/3 format cameras? I'm looking for an easy on/off cover when I'm packing light (without the front hood). Otherwise, and exact ID (measured with digital calipers) of the hood or OD of a lens it works on would be great. Thanks!

A: I don't think so. The Cap ID is exactly 120 mm or 4.723 as measured with a precision Digital Caliper.Measure the lens that you have.Joe

My last two Canon Power Shot cameras developed bent leaf style lens protectors from putting the camera into my pocket when traveling. I was able to continue using them only by using a very thin guitar or mandolin pick to carefully raise the bent leaf. Telling me to not put the camera in my pocket was not an acceptable answer for me. I really wanted the Canon G7X mk II for it's fast lens and other features but another bent lens leaf, on a $700 camera was not going to happen. Then a great salesman at Houston's Camera Exchange told me about a push on lens cover that was supposed to fit the camera perfectly. I checked it out and voila! It fits snugly and stays on. Good product. 5

Perfect for the Canon G7xii. Aside from protecting the blades, it also doubles as a way to prevent the lens from having dust infiltrate into the lens barrel and the sensor. 5

This fits well and covers the retractable lens without coming off. It protects the lens leaves which cover the glass and eliminates dirt or dust getting in collecting on the retract mechanism. Doesn't remove paint from gripping the control ring. Sized just right. 5
