Q: 2. Will this work with my Leica M2 without any other accessories?

A: You can definitely used this Leica Leather Carrying Strap on your Leica M2 without the need for other accessories.

Q: 3. I have seen a very similar item for Hasselblad X1D about a month ago, but can not find it anymore. Can you help?

A: The Hasselblad X1D Leather Shoulder Strap (Black) B&H # HAX1DBLSS is a compatible strap.

Q: 4. How do you adjust the length?

A: The plastic buttons on the side fit into the notches and you can make the strap longer or shorter that way

Q: 5. Can it fit a D-Lux Type 109?What's the difference with the Leica leather neck strap that's advertised for a D-Lux 109?

A: This is very similar expect for the way it connects with the camera. That is why this one is made for TL or T Leica cameras that have a different way of connecting a strap than the D-Lux cameras.

Q: 6. How is this different than the Leica q2 strap? Is one better than the other?

A: Yes, this strap can hold 1KG or approximately 2lbs.

Q: 9. Can you use this leather strap on the Leica Q if you have already the half case? Would the case be in the way?

A: I would think that this leather strap would fit with the half case as long as the half case does not obstruct the eyelet where the metal circle clip fits into the eyelet. Keep in mind that this leather strap is very long and camera hangs much lower on the chest than with Leica's strap that has the plastic or rubber-like pad that sits at the back of one's neck; I prefer that strap and the cost is less than half that of the leather one.

Q: 10. Does it work with the dog-ear m3?

A: Yes, Leica Leather Carrying Strap offers rings to connect your strap on the Leica M3 dog-ear type lug. The second image on this product displays a Leica camera with the strap on.

I bought a black one to check out, loved it, bought another, then bought two more in brown. So far they are holding up very nicely a Leica M3, a Nikkormat Ftn, a Nikon F4, and a Nikon D3. They are pretty supple out of the box but I have also tried leather conditioner/preserver on a couple. They are a lot less conspicuous than web straps and they seem a lot less prone to tangling with other straps, clothing or equipment. Their maximum length seems ideal for me for carrying over both neck and shoulder with enough slack to easily slide them from behind to in front and back without hanging up on anything . . . and that's over several layers of clothes because it's cold up here. Despite their small profile they are still very comfortable for carrying the weight for hours. And they look great on top of it, especially the Vintage Brown, albeit in a very understated way. They fit the bill so simply and perfectly that I don't regret the stiff price at all.

Bought this for my Fuji x100v black very classy, nice quality, and stealth when on the street. Great for comfort and not being noticed

Its nice, simple. It attaches to my X-T1 securely with no extra snaps or clasps to unnexpectedly come undone. I was fishing with another strap attached and the caribiner style release had come undone and slipped off my neck but caught on the shoulder strap of my waders and was dangling partially submerged in the water. Luckily the camera and lense were fine. So I decided to get this Leica strap. It looks good, is more secure and is soft and comfortable while not being too large and bothersome.
