Q: 3. Concerning the daisy chaining. If I connect the drive to my iMac using the USB connection, can I daisy chain via the thunderbolt facilities other G-RAID devices?

Q: 4. How does the RAID 1 configuration work for video editing? Can you still work directly off of the drive? Working with 4K footage using FCPX & Resolve. Thanks!

A: RAID 1 is a pure backup format. You will go from 8TB capacity to 4TB capacity as one drive will simply copy the same information as the other drive. This can still be used for video editing, it just will not be as fast as a RAID 0 configuration, which is both drives acting as one.

A: This device is meant to be used on Windows 8.1 or later.

Q: 8. If configured in RAID-0 and both drives are removed for offsite storage, when they're put back in will the data be still be readable?

A: Provided they go back into the same positions there shouldn't be a problem. Also, they should not be used in any other devices.

Q: 9. Are the hard drives included in the unit?

A: Yes. Dual 10TB 7200 rpm enterprise-class hard drives are included.

Q: 10. Anyone have experience hooking this up to a Thunderbolt 2 Mac Pro? Wanting to buy one of these to start investing in T3/UsbC stuff before I upgrade my Mac. Would the Apple T2-T3 adapter work?

A: Yes, but you would be sacrificing speed as the Apple thunderbolt 2 to thunderbolt 3 adapter can only transfer at a max of 20Gbps.
