Q: 1. I see that it can take a cover grid, but that size is 24' x 32' is the only that is sold. Will there a 24' x 36' be sold as well?

A: The softbox is not designed to take a grid. There are grids made by other companies 24x36 but it will not fit. You can try to attach it but you will need to rig it.

Q: 2. Does the fact that the flash's slave sensor or a remote slave would be obscured by the front diffuser cause any problems with reception, output, etc?

A: No it does not effect it, but I have only used it with pocket wizards. Although this product looks like an interesting soft box option, I would not recommend this product. The box cannot tilt down more then about 20 degrees. It makes it extremely difficult to dial in your lighting.

Q: 3. Anyone have a problem with the rubber texturing coming off?

A: We have not had any reports of the rubber coming off of this head.

Q: 4. Could you put a Paul C Buff Einstein inside this, if you had the right mounting equipment? Or would that generate too much heat?

A: You could use a PCB Einstein inside the Impact Parabox Softbox (24 x 36") BH #IMPBSB2436.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with a Norman LH500?

A: The Impact Parabox Softbox (24 x 36") is not compatible with a Norman LH500 lamp head. The head is too large.

Q: 6. I'm wanting to replace an older SBH-100 ball head that is on an Alta Pro 264AT tripod with the newer Arca-Swiss Alta BH-100 head but I wanted to know if I can attach the "three legged thing" (QR-11 LC) L bracket to it without any issues?

A: There should not be any issues. This head has an Arca-Type Compatible Clamp, the QR-11 LC L Bracket has an Arca-Type Compatible Plate. This head and that plate are compatible.

Q: 7. I can't seem to get my plate off because of the screw. Without unscrewing the screw from the bottom how do I depress the screw to release the plate?

A: Tilt the plate slightly upwards from the side that doesnt have the little pin. And when I say the side, the plate slides front to back when the screw is loosened

Q: 8. Does the safety pin locks the peak design plate?

A: The Peak Design Dual Plate V2 can work with the safety pin on this Vanguard head.

Q: 9. Will this work with a Nikon SB-900? I've read that some umbrella mounting kits need a special attachment for the SB-900 to work on them for some reason.

A: This kit will work with the Nikon SB-900. You would be connecting the flash to the radio receiver which then mounts to the Impact Umbrella Bracket. The problem you mentioned has to do with certain umbrella bracket which have smaller cold shoe attachments.

Q: 10. Does it work with Speedlite 580EXII?

A: Yep, I have that flash and it works just fine with this setup.
