The versatile airMAX AM-V2G-TI Titanium Sector Advanced RF Isolation Variable Beamwidth Antenna from Ubiquiti Networks is designed to work seamlessly with the Rocket M2 and Rocket M2 Titanium radios. Ubiquiti has even built an integrated Rocket radio mount built right into the back of the antenna. The antenna also features a custom-designed Protective Shroud that helps to shield your Rocket radio from the elements. It has a 2.3 to 2.6 GHz frequency range and 1.5:1 maximum VSWR.

The airMAX Titanium Sector is highlighted by its variable beamwidth configuration, which enhances scalability and streamlines inventory. The configuration setting options include 60°, 90°, and 120°. The antenna is outfitted with dual weatherproof RP-SMA connectors and it can withstand wind speeds up to 125 mph. The antenna is highly resistant to noise interference in co-location deployments as well. For added installation convenience, a Pole Mount Kit is included with this antenna.

The airMAX Titanium Sector Antenna features advanced RF isolation and adjustable beamwidth configurations. Having adjustable beamwidth options enhances scalability and streamlines inventory. The airMAX Titanium Sector may be custom configured for any deployment requiring a 60°, 90°, or 120° sector. The antenna gain changes according to the configured beamwidth. The antenna gain is 17 dBi at 60°, 16 dBi at 90°, and 15 dBi at 120°.

The Titanium Sector Antenna features an integrated Rocket mount that allows you to mount the Rocket without the use of any tools. There's also a custom-designed Protective Shroud that helps to shield your Rocket from the elements.

The airMAX Titanium Sector Antenna is specifically engineered for optimal performance when paired with a Rocket M2 Titanium. This combo supports up to a 20% increase in performance with PtMP networks, up to 90% performance improvement in a co-location environment, and increased durability in harsh weather.

The airMAX Titanium Sector is designed to be highly resistant to noise interference in co-location deployments.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How much does this item weigh, and what are the physical dimensions? Thanks

A: Weight: 21.6 lb (9.8 kg) Diameter: 25.6 x 25.6 x 12" (65 x 65 x 30.4 cm)

Q: 2. Is this for a pair? or is it a single unit where I have to purchase 2 to make it work?

A: This is a single unit, half of a complete system. It can be used with another unit of the same type, or with other airMAX network equipment.

Q: 3. what's the difference between item R5AC-LITE-US and RM5-AC-PTP-LITE ?

A: The difference is the operating frequency, the RM5-AC-PTP-LITE is Worldwide: 5150 - 5875 MHz and R5AC-LITE-US is USA: 5725 - 5850 MHz

Q: 4. 1) can this be used for cameras on an anex building 2) if I buy a pair can one be configured as the client & other the AP?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks IsoStation M5 Shielded airMAX Radio with Isolation Antenna BH #UBISM5US can be paired with the robust dish antenna, model U‑OMT‑Dish, offering excellent beam directivity with 27 dBi of gain. to extend radio performance for a greater number of WISP customers. Providing high throughput and an innovative form factor, the IsoStation M5 is versatile and cost-effective to deploy. The IsoStation™ M5 is used as a CPE device for each client in an airMAX PtMP (Point‑to‑MultiPoint) network.

Q: 5. What PoE injector is required for this device? It's unclear from the specs what it expects.

A: This unit requires an 8.5w PoE budget.

Q: 6. What is the range?

A: The range will be determined by the antenna used.

Q: 7. What is the maximum distance this will work at?

A: The NanoStation AC is rated for relatively short distances of 0-5 Km.

Q: 8. Hello do you get two dish antenna ? And can i use both of them to bridge two buildings ?

A: No, unfortunately this would be a single unit. Other hardware would be required to bridge the two points together.

Q: 9. how difficult is this to setup?

A: That will depend on your comfort level with technology and wiring products. A product like this is not going to be a simple plug and play solution and will require some set up.

Q: 10. Can this device strengthen your smartphone and laptop wifi signal from a long distance?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks airMAX NanoStation M5 BH #UBNSM5US is a network bridge. It would not be used as a signal booster.

We're using a UniFi long range AP and UniFi AP Outdoor access point to wirelessly link two buildings 250' apart (I know that is beyond the published range but it worked though somewhat unreliably). Putting the AM-2G12-120 antenna on the Outdoor AP boosted both send and receive strength enough to make the link reliable. The UniFi AP Outdoors mounts into the back of the antenna and connects using the supplied cables, though the tiny radio is dwarfed by the AM-2G15-120 antenna.

Performance increased using this vs omni antenna. Same simple setup and mount is very easy to deploy. Remember the anti seize on all bolts just in case you need to move it in the future.
