Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I'm looking to shoot this film for a concert would you recommend this for lowlight situations?

A: Honestly no. P800 is very light hungry. I would try P400 rated at 1250 then push 2 in development.

Q: 2. Does it really have 0 remjet? It wont destroy the machine on the local photoshop then?

A: From their (CineStills) website:CineStill film is safe for standard photo lab machines and produces ideal negatives for scanning or printing. CineStill color film can also be easily processed by hand, using CineStills Color Simplified Cs41 processing kits, without worrying about rem-jet. I still havent had my roll of this film processed, but it seems like theyve made it safe for sending to a photo lab. Just to be safe send it in to the darkroom dot com and theyll know what to do with it for sure. Great lab for film processing.

Q: 3. Dear Sirs, what is the expiry date of these films? In what year they were produced?

A: Because of our significant amount of inventory, I am unable to confirm if all our our rolls are from the same batch. But to answer your question, the expiry date of the rolls I have called up in our superstore are Nov 2022. It does not list a manufacturing date.

This is the stuff I grew up with. At least it reminds me of my old photos from many years ago. If you want that look you will love this film along with the other consumer grade Kodak films.

This film is a fantastic value. Plenty of online reviews to show what it looks like. Overall this is my favorite budget film when i don't want to spend money on Portra.
