A: I'm not familiar with Photoshop, but I do use a couple of other applications to do editing. Under the File menu, drop down and look for Twain or Acquire or something similar that will allow you to scan from your editing application without having to use Epson Scan or Easy Scan.

Ive got no complaints. This scanner was easy to set up on my mac ( O.S. 10.8) and easy use. Great quality. Film holders are a not great quality. I will be getting better scan holders. But very great little scanner. Moreover, it is not as slow as others claim it is. 5

I upgraded from an older scanner. Was I impressed. 300dpi is as quick as it can be. Easy to use. The color correction and dust removal that come in the basic software work perfectly. 5

I scanned hundreds of photos and slides using the Epson V500 before it bit the dust. After doing some research, it appeared the Canon V9000F or the Espon V600 would best fit my needs I decided to try the Canon 9000F. It only took a few days to decide the Canon didn't compare so I returned to and bought the Epson V600. Couldn't be happier with it. 5

I have wanted a scanner for a while. I particularly wanted to scan old photos for which I didn't have the negative. I am very particular about color and detail. I scanned one of my favorite photos, printed from a slide. It had faded badly and was very yellowish. It scanned beautifully. I corrected the color and now it looks like it did originally. I like the options and it is very easy to set up and use. A great product that delivers. 5

I purchased this scanner a week ago primarily to scan the thousands of 35mm slides that I have accumulated over the last 45 years. The Epson Perfection V600 has met all of my expectations from when I opened the box, installed the software and driver, scanned my first photo and began scanning my slides. The installation was totally problem free and startup was a breeze. The quality of the few photos that I have scanned was fabulous. The quality of the slides that I have scanned from the seventies and eighties was also great. I had a number of "special" slides from the sixties that also scanned extremely well. It has been quite enjoyable to look at our boys as they grew up. I would certainly recommend this scanner to anyone who desires very good quality of their photos! Some people have complained about the slide holder; I just taped it down to the flat surface and it is no problem at all. I have been a user of Photoshop Elements for 5 years, so using it to touch up the scanned slides was a sinch. The V600 is a great buy. 5

Amazingly easy to use. At first i wondered why the instructions were so brief, but once you start to use it you see it is very straightforward. Great that you can choose to make a pdf from the start of a scanning process. Fast scans. Good slide scanning results. Have not yet tried the software for eliminating dust from old slides. 5

It seems to be exactly what I needed. Simple to operate and gives quality reproductions very quickly. I really need a very large scanner for my watercolors but I'm satisfied with the V600 for now. 5

i love the darkroom, but once i got out of college and lost full time access to one, i needed some way to at least categorize and file all the negatives i had! so i could narrow it down, then go to the darkroom. the scanner was absolutely perfect for that! on top of being able to have all of them digitally to begin with helps out a lot nowadays. the quality is perfect for what i wanted it for and a little more. i love B&H, have been ordering from them for years from everywhere along the east coast! shipping is always prompt, along with the variety in products are amazing! thank you!!!! 5
