I've tried a number of docks for my MBP and they always seem to be flaky. This one just works. Plain and simple. It's actually Thunderbolt, not USB-C, multiple monitors just works. Everytime. Not some of the time. All of the time. With a simple firmware upgrade, it even provides 87w to my 16 MBP. 5

Overall I am impressed with this dock. Amazing expansion options, and will drive 2 4K monitors no problem. Onboard ethernet, SD Card slot, and plenty of USBs are great to have. I wish that the included Thunderbolt 3 cable was longer however (only .8M) Would reccommend for Mac Users looking to simplify their setup and run everything off 1 USB-C cable! 5

Yes it works. I did the research. No disconnects or problems. Perfecto. But geez, the design is a terrible rectangle with ribbing. I really dont get how all these video and web reviewers say the design looks great. Downside: Very crowded layout in the back. My cables are all crowded together. I wish the OWC Thunderbolt Dock had better reviews so I could get a cleaner cable layout and better looking piece of equipment. I'm a student at Santa Monica College and really appreciate the sort of discounts BH gives students. I got this because I am editing 4K video as a side gig and needed to connect a 4K Adobe RBG display as a reference monitor. I tried the cheap hubs and they cannot do 60K, so after buying hubs ranging from $10 to $100, I decided to bite the bullet and get the TS3 Plus. Everything worked, and it was really nice to have all the ports. A lot of my side projects have multiple collaborators and all these ports makes it super easy to edit content. 5

Works great... it even resolved an issue I had with my new 2020 M1 MacBook Air running Big Sur 11.1 that would crash after waking from sleep when otherwise connected directly to my LG 32 monitor via the Thunderbolt 3 connection. 5

I have owned a couple of passive docking stations and always had connection issues. This thing works flawlessly. 15 ports, UHS-ii card reader, thunderbolt. It has it all. Favorite feature is that it powers my Mac and runs everything I need with one thunderbolt cable. I do wish it had a HDMI instead of display port but being an Apple owner I guess we expect to use dongles. Ha! 5

Ideal docking solution for my gaming laptop. TB3 passthrough still allows max frame rates to my 244hz monitor. 10/10 would reccommend! 5
