A: We do not believe there would be any vignetting.

A: In order to use your filter, first place the matte box adapter ring on the lens. Then you screw-in the filter to the adapter. Adjust the filter to where you want the effect. Then you mount the matte box itself. This allows the adjustment of the filter yet the matte box stays in its correct orientation.

A: That is a Tilta cage in the photo.

Q: 4. Will it fit a Panasonic HC X1 ? As it has the overhanging handle.

A: The HC-X1 has a 67mm filter thread and this comes with an adapter for 67mm. You will be able to connect it, but this really is designed for smaller DSLR and Mirrorless cameras. We would not recommend it for the HC-X1.

Q: 5. my filter thread for my Panasonic HH025 LUMIX G Lens, 25mm, F1.7 ASPH is 46mm, do you think it would work with the matte box?

A: You will need a 46mm to 67/72/77/82mm step-up ring to make your lens compatible with this matte box.

Q: 6. Can I use the Dream FX filter 4x5.6 on this tilta mini matte box??

A: Yes, filters that are 4x5.6" in size will work with this single stage mattebox.

Q: 7. Can you use the Tiffen 77mm Variable Neutral Density Filter with, for example a rokinon 24mm lens and this matte box??

A: Unfortunately the Tiffen 77mm Variable neutral density doesn't offer threading in the front of the filter to screw in the 77mm adapter ring provided by Tilta for attachment to the matte box.

Q: 8. Will this matte box fit a Sigma 24-70mm zoom lens?

A: That will depend on the exact model of Sigma 24-70mm lens you have. That being said this systems comes with 67mm. 72mm, 77mm and 82mm adapter rings. If you have the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Lens for Canon EF that lens has an 82mm filter thread and will work with this matte box. You will just need to double check the exact model you have and see what filter thread it offers.

A: Yes it will.

Q: 10. I'm considering getting this for use with my Panasonic UX-90. Is there enough clearance over the matte box for the overhang of the built-in mic/handle?

A: We are not aware of this being able to work with the UX90. The only option for a hood we are aware of is the one it comes with. Using screw on filters is the better option over a matte box. The camera is not designed for a matte box.
