A: We use this and its counter part (SDI to HDMI) to send computer images to LCD screens. They work perfectly. As far as to recorders, I would assume it would work fine, however, I don't understand why you would need this piece when the Production Studio should export the same thing. Sounds like something weird with the JVC recorders or the output on the Production Studio is not set correctly. Try exporting on a lower output and not in HD and see if that helps. I'm not an export but I do know DVD are not HD so you may be running into a problem if you are exporting in HD or 4K. Something worth looking at.
