I purchased the sony Sony ECM-XYST1M Stereo Microphone and it is a good little mic that allows me to use headphones with the A6000. Read the reviews on that one for better info. Works best when closer up to a subject. Decent for family action audio. Comes with a windscreen. For pro level work, it is still best to get separate off camera audio and sync to camera for best results. Sony also has a couple of higher end multi interface shotgun mics that should work too, but you need to double check compatibility with A6000 for those. Would suggest getting a cheap plastic hotshoe cover to protect the multi interface connection when not in use with the mic. Hope this helps.
