A: I'm not sure what you want to know. You can monitor, yes. If you are recording, you are limited by the cameras 1080p output. Not sure it can dual link to 4K but why would you when the camera records up to 6K internally. I suppose if you want to create a lower res proxy with or without 3d LUT then use the Odyssey.

Q: 3. Using this with a Sony F55 and recording to ProRes, does it break long interview clips up into a bunch of smaller clips? I've heard that could be an issue.

A: Dear Tom,We do split the clips, which has a safety advantage. If there is a corruption, for whatever reason, you would only lose a small portion of a long clip. .............But, if you use our free CD ProRes/DNxHD Transfer Tool for uploading the footage to your computer, then we stich all of the small files together. Q: 4. For the Sony FS section, it mentioned it can shoot 120fps in burst mode on 4k RAW. What exactly is shooting fps in burst mode? Can you notice the difference in post or if you made that clip in slow motion?

A: Burst mode plays rap music through the headphone output when activated.

A: Unfortunately no, however you can record 4K in ProRes if you have the 4K upgrade on your camera.

A: For no additional cost you can view two HD signals while recording one of them. This is known as Dual-HD monitoring. Also for no additional cost you can view up to four HD video signals without recording them. This is known as Quad-HD Monitoring. With the addition of the Odyssey RAW Bundle option, you will be able to view and record two HD video signals. This is known as Dual-HD Record. It will be made available in our upcoming firmware update. With the addition of the Apollo Option, you can view and record up to four HD video signals. This is known as Quad-HD Recording. The Apollo Option also allows you to view and record two 4K video signals. This is known as Dual-4K Recording. These functions are currently available.

Q: 10. Did Convergent Design give up on this product? The website still lists Arriraw 4:3 as a future update. But it's been years now. Super disappointing. Why are they still selling this if there's no more support?
