PolyTerra PLA from Polymaker is a PLA-based 3D printing filament designed with a focus on being environmentally friendly. It's made to deliver high printing quality and speed while being easy to use and reliable. It's made with a material from Polymaker called Fully Bio Compound (FBC), which is a compound of PLA bioplastic and a bio-composite. Polymaker offers it as a cost effective and eco-friendly solution. Polymaker also emphasizes that PolyTerra PLA can easily be removed.
PolyTerra PLA filament is compatible with most of the printers available on the market. Examples include the Ultimaker, Flashforge, Snapmaker, LulzBot, Raise3D, Flsun, Artillery, Anycubic, Creality, and more. For best printing results, it's recommended to print PolyTerra PLA in temperatures between 374 to 446°F.
PolyTerra PLA can be printed at a wide range of speeds. Polymaker recommends speeds between 30 and 70mm/s, but they have successfully tested it on some printers at speeds up to 140mm/s.
If your printer has a direct-drive extruder, the recommended retraction distance is 1mm and the retraction speed is 20mm/s. If your printer has a Bowden extruder, the recommended retraction distance is 3mm and the retraction speed is 40mm/s.
PolyTerra PLA degrades under the specific conditions of industrial composting, namely, at certain temperatures and humidity with the presence of micro-organisms. The degrade rate will depend on the size and thickness of the printed part.
Due to Polymaker's heat treatment of the filament, PolyTerra PLA can withstand temperatures of 212°F. However, the printed PolyTerra PLA parts can only withstand temperatures up to 140°F because the crystallinity of the filament changes during the printing process. To glue PolyTerra PLA parts together, common glues used for PLA parts can be used. Polymaker suggests cyanoacrylate glue (superglue) as generally the best choice.
Is PolyTerra PLA food safe? Compliant with RoHS directives 2011/65/EU and (EU) 2015/863, and REACH regulation, PolyTerra PLA does not contain toxic or harmful substances. However, the printed PolyTerra PLA parts might have micro-cracks and holes which are invisible to the naked eye even though the prints look smooth. Bacteria are prone to grow in these micro-cracks and holes, so it is not recommended to use the printed parts in food contact applications.

Q: 1. I've been looking for a comfortable pack that will fit most of my gear in it for a trip to Costa Rica. Will the 26L fit 2 bodies (D800 and D850 attached to any one of the lenses noted) a 70-200 f/2.8, 16-35 f/4, 24-120 f/4 and a Micro 105 and a 14mm prime? I know I could fit all of that in the 36L, but that pack looks huge in comparison and I'd be worried about it being to large for long hikes and to large for a carry-on
A: I just returned from a trip where I packed two DSLR Canon bodies, a 100-400mm, 24-105mm and 16-35mm lens and various filters, batteries, accessories and the like. I love this bag and it holds what I need. I carried it on the plane with ease and didn't find it too large...I'm only 5'3 by the way.
Q: 2. Is the MindShift Gear BackLight 26L or 36L better for a person that is 5'2"?
A: The MindShift Gear BackLight 36L is 22.44 inches long and based on your height I believe it would be too large for your back. The 26L is 20,28 inches long so it might fit a little better.
Q: 3. Will this fit under a seat on a domestic flight?
A: Different airlines have different requirements for bag sizes, the MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack is 20.3 x 11.4 x 7.9 inches, which is slightly larger than the average of 18 in x 14 in x 8 inches.
Q: 4. Does this pack have an aluminum frame?
A: No.
Q: 5. Does this bag can hold RF 600 F4 lense ?
A: Unfortunately, the MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack (Woodland Green) is not wide enough for a Canon RF 600 F4 lens.
Q: 6. does it feel feel heavy with a mirrorless body, zoom lens (100-400) , and 2 primes with air2s and controller? and would i be able to carry it for longer times?
A: The MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack 19.29 x 10.24 x 5.91 inch interior so it should fit the items you mentioned.
Q: 7. Does this hold canon 600mm with a body..
A: I can fit a 7d2 with a Sigma 150-600 Sport. A Canon 600 prime? No. Even without the camera. Too long.
Q: 8. Will a Canon R7 with 100-500 lens attached fit in this bag?
A: Yes, the Canon EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera with the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens attached with comfortably fit in the MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack.
Q: 9. Will a MindShift BackLight 26L fit inside an empty Pelican 1510 case?
A: So the short answer is no. Just tried my 3/4's loaded 26l inside my empty pelican 1510. The dimensions fit as I can rest the bag into the pelican, but there is an extra roughly Four inches between the straps and the bag itself that prevent it from closing. Maybe an empty 26l into an empty 1510?? But I wouldnt see the purpose in that.
Q: 10. Will this fit two Canon R6's, a RF100-500mm, a RF15-35mm, and a RF 24-70 (with lens hoods reversed)?
A: Yes, MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack will fit two Canon EOS R6's, a Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens, a Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens (Canon RF), and a Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens (with lens hoods reversed).
