The Gator Deluxe ABS Dreadnought Guitar Case is a hard-shell carrying case built with a durable plastic exterior and outfitted with features that will both pamper and protect your favorite guitar. Premium features include a rugged, molded ABS plastic exterior with a plush EPS foam interior to prevent scratches or damage. The case is built with heavy-duty aluminum valences and features a comfortable carrying handle that uses through bolts for extra strength. A: The bag is suitable for check in luggage, but it's soft padded, so it really depends what you put inside it. I have a heavy duty slider stand, so I'd be happy with that. If you're worried perhaps you could consider a hard case.

Like all Ruggard cases I have purchased, this delivered a lot for a small price. I needed something that would hold my Ascend (long) legs, with a Kirk mini half ball leveler, a Leofoto Quick-Link Quick release set, plus a tripod head, and also accommodate a Jobu Jr. 3 gimbal head attached to a second plate for exchanging with the primary head, as needed. The Ruggard holds the length of the primary rig tied in, and its side pouch accommodates the gimbal head! 5

I needed to create a small kit for portable light stands, flashes and accessories and this product fit the bill. Yes, it's a tripod bag, but a couple of lightstands, two flash units and triggers really fit in this case just right. 5

I have a ZWO TC40 tripod with the 200mm pier extension attached. The whole thing fits in this case with room for some of my cables. Construction appears to be good quality, but only time will tell. 5

Manfrotto no longer markets a padded tripod bag in this size class, which I need to carry/store my 3058/516 combo. Glad to see B&H house brand Ruggard make something this size. It works. Does it match the former Manfrotto bag's quality? No, but it is perfectly adequate for my needs. 5

I used the Ruggard tripod case recently for the first time to carry a large tripod and some light stands. It performed just as I needed it to for my photo shoot. I feel it will be a great addition to my gear based upon the quality of the material and build. 5

I love this bag. In fact, I can carry all my main tripods at once. For example, I currently carry the Gitzo Mini Traveler Tabletop Tripod (Black), the Gitzo GT5543LS Systematic Series 5 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Benro GD3WH gear head attached, the JOBY GorillaPod 5K, and a lightweight medium tripod all at once. Of course, if I specifically know what I need for a situation, I'll only carry a couple. But it's amazing I can carry all of it. The side pocket is great. The ergonomics are terrific. It's kept my equipment dry during the rain. 5

I purchased 4 of these cases for pop-up banners at work. The internal measurements were accurate, the padding was adequate and consistent throughout the product and the materials are excellent quality. I would purchase these again and highly recommend them! 5

I am an Astrophotographer and have a Skywatcher Equatorial Mount with a heavy tripod, which is difficult to carry and rattles incessantly in the back of the SUV. This case makes it easy to carry, and I do not have to collapse the legs completely which makes for faster setup. Highly reccomended. 5
