Q: 6. I'm currently using a 14TB external drive for Time Machine backup on my Mac. Can I remove and insert that hard drive into the QNAP and add another 14TB disk and use it as JBOD, or do I have to copy the Time Machine data and reformat the 2 drives?

A: It is recommended instead that you install drives that are certified compatible with the TR-004. You can then migrate the Time Machine backup to the TR-004.
