The 170x170mm SkyEye Solid ND Filter from Kase reduces the exposure of an entire image area for finer control when shooting in bright light. It reduces exposure by 6-stops and allows longer shutter speeds to enhance motion blur, as when shooting running water. In addition, it can be used to shoot with a wider aperture to decrease depth-of-field to help isolate the subject of an image.

This filter is made of high-definition Schott B270 optical glass with multicoated surfaces, to reduce exposure without altering color. It feature resistance coating for protection against scratches and abrasions, and allows water and oil to bead up for easy cleaning, making it well suited for use on location in harsh environments. It is 2mm thick and fits 170mm-wide filter holders.
