The StandCuff Compact V-Lock Battery Stand Mount from FotodioX is a handy and compact accessory that secures to light stands, C-stands, tripod legs, overhead rigs, or anything with a diameter of 20-35mm. It provides two 3/8"-16 screw interfaces, two 1/4"-20 screw interfaces, and two V-lock mounting points. The clamp is made from hardened, anodized industrial aluminum alloy. It has jaws that completely encompass a pole and lock securely in place for safe and secure attachment of up to 110 pounds.

Q: 1. I wanted to know if this battery is compatible with the JVC GY 110U camcorder? I brought a V-mount extension due to the camera's battery does not hold a lot of power.

A: The batteries will work but it depends on the V mount extension and it's output. You need to get the 14.8 volts of the batteries down to the camera's specification of 7.9v. Either that is built into the connection to the camera or you will have to use a 7.9 d-tap on the V mount extension to a dummy battery into the camera.

Q: 2. Can this battery be charged while attached to the light while the light is plugged in with wall power cable?

A: Unfortunately, the battery cannot be charged while attached to the light while it is plugged into the wall. You would need a charger like the Dracast DR-CH2V Dual V-Mount Battery Charger B&H # DRCH2V. Please see the image.

Q: 3. Are these airline safe?

A: It is not so much are they safe as are they allowed on the plane in either checked or carry on. The TSA allows 100Wh (or less) batteries in checked and carry on. A: You have to get an additional 2 or 4 battery charger. Click into the batteries accessories and it'll be suggested. Make sure it's a V mount charger.Regards.

A: It work for b2 indoor only. But I don't recommend it for outdoor. It's not strong enough. And the price is higher than other products in the same quality

Q: 7. Is it OK to charge this with the Core dual-position v-mount charger?

A: Yes, I have dual charger and work fine

Q: 8. Can this battery be charged via the D-Tap connection? If so, I have a Switronics D-Tap charger, will it work with this battery?

A: That's what I use and it works. I did find the Dracasts lose their charge much faster than the Switronics now Core batteries in the same category like the LP-L90A's. Maybe not as big a charge as well.

Q: 9. Does anyone know if this kit comes with the screws? Mine did not.

Q: 10. Can this battery power the RED Epic-W without Harm?

A: The main issue of compatibility of the use of non-OEM batteries centers around information passed back and forth between the camera and battery regarding power level. We therefore feel no harm to either device will occur. However, battery power levels are unlikely to be indicated in camera. Since we do not sell RED products, we advise that you proceed at your own risk.
