Lately I've substituted the 100-400 for a 150-600mm Tamron and it still fits nicely. Other features that I love are the rain cover, built in memory card holders, and literally tons of extra pockets. I've had this pack next to the wall at countless drag races, in the back woods doing landscapes, and carried it in the rain. It's never let me down.
