The matte box weighs about the same as a standard 4 x 5.65" glass filter, and it accepts Tilta's 95mm round filters with the included filter adapter. The included VND module enables you to precisely adjust the ND effect from 0.3 to 2.7 stops. The module has built-in hard stops between ND 0.3 to 2.7 to reduce the chance that the dreaded X-pattern shadow appears. The variable ND has no color shift for natural colors, and it has a larger axis between the filter elements. Tilta recommends that to prevent vignetting, use ND 0.3 to 2.1 for wide lenses and ND 2.1 to 2.7 for focal lengths beyond 35mm.
