The remotely controllable PTZ camera allows you to capture up to 1080p30 resolution via USB or with dual IP streams via its RJ45 interface. Additional features include a 20x optical zoom, an additional 2x digital zoom, a 3.23 to 60° angle of view, a ±170° panning range, a ±90° tilting range, auto or manual focus, a wide dynamic range, and serial/IP control.

The low-noise 1/2.8" 2.1MP CMOS sensor ensures a high signal-to-noise ratio while advanced 2D/3D noise-reduction technology further reduces image noise, so that an even sharper image is delivered in low light. The RJ45 Ethernet port allows you to control and configure the camera via IP, and it also allows simultaneous dual streaming via IP for a live Internet stream. You can also output the video via USB with UVC support, making it easy to interface with a computer to send video and audio to a streaming or recording application. There is also an audio line input on the back to input stereo audio into your streams and video output.

The pan/tilt/zoom mechanism uses quiet, smooth movements, controllable using the included IR remote controller, ONVIF and VISCA-over-IP control, or by using the RS-232 input/outputs that support VISCA, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P protocols for use with a separately available controller. You can store up to 128 presets using an optional serial controller, or store 10 presets when using the included IR remote. You can power the camera using a networked PoE+ (Power-over-Ethernet) switch, or by using the included power adapter. The camera also includes an RS-232 control cable and a USB cable.

A: HelloI do have a peak design standard plate and yes it will work although it is not ideal as the plate is not as long as the ball head is, so use caution to ensure safety pin has caught the peak design plate.

Q: 2. How do I set this up to control 2 AviPas 1081 PTZ cameras? Where do I find the appropriate cables?

A: AV-1081 only has one RS-232 interface. Using AV-3104 to control two AV-1081, you will need to add a "Y splitter" or a "RS232 port expander". Usually if a you want to use AV-3104 to control multiple cameras, we will suggest AV-1281 and the end camera can be an AV-1081. That would allow them to daisy chain the cameras. But then a special VISCA cable will be required between cameras.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with Oben tripods?

A: Absolutely. any tripod brand that has 3/8 16 thread will work.

Q: 4. Will this control more than one camera at a time?

A: This can control multiple cameras but they will have to be controlled individually

A: Panasonic recommends use of a AW-RP50E controller for IP control of the AW-HE60S camera. Although 3rd party IP controllers may be able to communicate with IP controllable PTZ cameras, the Panasonic controllers are coded specifically for use with their cameras and are recommended for full compatibility.
