Q: 3. I am trying to use this with the ATEM studio switcher and connect it with the program out sdi of the switcher. But the sdi cable that the magwell comes with would not fit the ATEM switcher. Do you know what kind of cable I need?

A: You need to use a short sdi cable with bnc connectors. I use it with the same setup as yours and works fine.

Q: 4. Could you conceivably stream multiple cameras using multiple Magewell dongles on the same laptop?

A: It is possible, but you would need a very powerful computer to be able to handle multiple of such a capture device. Not sure it would be optimal with a laptop.

Q: 5. Does this work with a Mac mini. Has anyone tried it?

A: I have not tried it with a Mac Mini, however, it works on the same principal as normal speakers using the aux or speaker port for sound. You do need USB for power. The speaker sounds great and works very well.

Q: 6. Can I use this with a Canon C200 to livestream to Zoom (C200 Magewell USB Capture SDI Gen 2 Zoom on a laptop)?

A: Yes, The Magewell SDI encoder will connect to the Canon C200 SDI output and allow you to stream live when connected to a computer. The Magewell encoder makes your C200 into a professional high quality webcam that would work with services like Zoom Meeting.

Q: 7. would like to use a mixer for audio so wondering how much delay their is on the video?

A: I use it with a sound stream from the camera, via HDMI, no delay there. With a separate audio feed, if there is any delay, usually the streaming software has filters and settings to fine tune that problem. I had several lives with no problem, I have not yet tried with an external source.

A: While we have not used this equipment, we see no reason it will not work as you wish. Keep in mind he camera cannot output 4K over HDMI, only HD.
