It kinda just dumps it into a folder though, so if you're super peculiar about naming convention and formatting, you should use this purely as a backup solution and not wipe your cards.

A: I have a couple of these hard drive and I am using them as backups for the main drives having the system and the applications on them.Reformat the drives before backing up and DO NOT UNPLUG THEM BEFORE EJECTING. I've done that twice and the hard drives stopped working...
