Pinnacle Studio 25 Standard is a consumer-level Windows video editing software with six video/audio tracks and hundreds of creative effects, transitions, graphics, overlays, fonts, and title presets. Studio 25 now supports up to 8K video import and offers an enhanced color correction toolset that lets you polish your videos with pro-style finishes. There's also a screen capture feature for creating YouTube tutorials and other demos and presentations. Other updated features in version 25 include keyframe groups for easier editing, an enhanced title editor that features keyframe control, and improved stability and performance.

Other key features include stop-motion animation, two-camera multicam editing, royalty-free music and sound effects, and much more. A slideshow maker and themed templates and video montages are provided for quickly creating projects with photos, video, and sound to display to your audience. Studio 25 Standard also supports optional 3D LUTs, which are presets that can substantially enhance your videos with various cinematic looks. A: No, the DeckLink Studio 4K Capture & Playback Card will not downscale for you. I would recommend either setting the program on Premiere to playback at a specified setting, or using a scaler between the computer and the monitor.

Q: 2. Can I use this device to capture video from a Panasonic MiniDV camcorder?

A: Probably. I haven't tried this particular camera. I had a Canon Mini-DV and a Sony that worked fine with it. The technology should be the same.

A: The Dazzle DVD Recorder HD is not a streaming device. It is meant for enhancing older videos from analogue sources and then creating DVDs of them. For live streaming with Adobe Flash Encoder or Wirecast, INOGENI makes USB 3.0 Capture Cards that will work with those applications. One has VGA and Composite Video Inputs and the other has an HDMI input.

A: Decklinks are a PCIe cards. They fit into an open PCIe slot inside desktop computers. They do not normally work with all-in-one, laptop, etc computers. Consider external attached box via e.g. thunderbolt device e.g. BMD UltraStudio 4K. Make sure the product supports your computer's OS & desired video resolution, frame rate, color bit depth, etc. Make sure the monitor you select is compatible with same as well as connectivity between them e.g. SDI 3, 6, 12, etc. Color accurate probably better server by color grading monitor e.g. Flanders Scientific Inc rather than high end computer monitor. Also, research color calibration probes, software & technical services. No point in color correcting on monitors with displaying colors inaccurately.
