The Mathew Lane DrMS is a complex and versatile spatial processor plug-in that utilizes mid-side processing to give mixers, engineers, beat creators, and sound designers total creative control over the stereo image of a track or mix—ideal for mastering, mixing, and postproduction applications, or general sonic manipulation.

The DrMS can handle simple mid-side encoding/decoding and also increase the stereo field with width and depth enhancement. It can fix mono compatibility issues, and there is an internal Autogain function for easy level-matched A/B comparison.

The software is compatible with Mac and Windows and operates in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats. Choose to authorize DrMS using either Host Computer authorization or an iLok2/iLok3 (available separately) USB dongle. One License authorizes two computers or iLoks at once.

Q: 1. Good afternoon,I currently use two Nikon D4, two D800 and six Nikon SB-800 speedlites. My intention is to have a main camera trigger three separate cameras and the speedlites simultaneously. What would be the best configuration of pocket wizard products for this setup?

A: Hello - I use a D800e and have four (4) of the Flex TT5 units sitting under speed lights. I use the TT1 to trigger them, and have the AC Zone Adapter as well. It's a great combination.

Q: 2. Do you sell Pocket Wizard system for the European-marked? I.e. 544 og somthing MHz.

A: No we do not, we only deal in the USA FCC frequency version.

Q: 3. I have a Panasonic GH4 and am looking for a LANC control to be tripod mounted for video. I do have power zoom lenses ?

A: Yes, The Manfrotto RC Pan Bar EX Remote Control for LANC Cameras would support the GH5 and support Zoom and Rec.. See this chart - https://bit.ly/3GvcR5H Also make sure to add the tripod handle clamp option to attach it to your tripod handle. Clamp https://bhpho.to/34FHCre

Q: 4. My Pocket wizardsFlex TT5's I purchased work on my Canon 7D but not my Canon 6D. Same setup. are the pocket wizards not compatable with the 6D?

A: The PocketWizards are fully compatible with your Canon 6D.

Q: 5. Does this have an autofocus assist lamp?

A: No, this item is a transcever used to control your speedlights of strobes.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with the Canon 5D Mark IV?

A: I'm using 5D III. I don't know about the new one.

Q: 7. Can the TT5 be used in conjunction with the Nikon Creative Lighting System? Such as using the CLS to trigger a key and fill light but then have the PW trigger a flash for a kicker that is out of site from the IR of the CLS commander.

A: Being that the TT5 operates via radio frequency, it would not work with the Nikon CLS system which uses line of sight. What you could do is use the Pocket Wizard Mini TT1 Transmitter, B&H # WIMTT1N on your camera and have a TT5 transceiver on each flash set off camera. To control the other flashes off camera, you can either use a Pocket Wizard AC3 Zone Controller, B&H # WIAC3N on top of the Mini TT1 or you can place another Nikon speedlight on there which has a master function. Please see the images below for reference:

Q: 8. I currently have a Pocketwizard Plus X for my Canon 6D. Is this what I need to attach to the Canon 430ex II in order to take the flash off camera? Thanks!

A: Yes the Pocketwizard Flex TT5 on the bottom of your 430EX II flash will work with the a Plus X but only in manual mode only. The Plus X does not transmit a TTL signal for auto flash. For TTL compatibility you would need on camera a Pocketwizard Flex TT5 or Mini-tt1.The link for the Mini-tt1 is, http://bhpho.to/2VMx2D

Q: 9. I have the Canon Mark 5DIII and the Canon 430 EX II flash. If I buy one Flex TT5 will I be able to fire the flash off camera? Would one work if later I wanted to fire two flashes, one on camera (attached to the Flex) and one off camera?I am wondering if I need any other products to make off camera flash work with the Flex TT5.Thank you! Michelle

A: In order to work with the PocketWizard system you'll need at least two units, one on your camera and one on your off camera flash. The unit connected to your flash off camera will have to be the Flex TT5, the unit on your camera could either be another Flex TT5 or the smaller Mini TT1 (which is a transmitter only). You can always add more flashes into this system later on.

Q: 10. Will this work on JVC cameras (particularly the GY-HM600)?

A: If you look down in the reviews of this product (6-10-13), someone mentions precisely that camera and says it works. I'm using it on a Canon XF300 and it's marvelous. Make sure you have a Manfrotto video head to attach it to...
