Q: 4. How does this compare to a vello shutterboss 2 with remote and cable?

A: I can't compare this to the shutterboss but I can compare to the Vello Stryker Lightning WHICH SUCKS! I have had it for almost 2 months and it does not work properly. B&H will not accept it for a return so I have had to obtain an RMA form the distributor and send it there. I have since bought the MIOPS and used it for fireworks on the weekend. It was very easy to use and work exactly as I expected! Very happy with it so far...waiting for lightning now!

Q: 5. Does it have a dedicated place for a 15" laptop?

A: Yes, there is a rear laptop compartment that can fit up to a 17" laptop.

Q: 6. Does this bag come in a version more suited to DSLR storage? The number of dividers seems unworkable for DSLR packing.

A: Unfortunately, Sachtler does not make a version of the Sachtler Camera Rollpak that comes with more dividers. A possible workaround is to use third-party touch-fastening dividers to get more compartments in the bag. Q: 7. What is the plastic rectangular frame with fabric in it used for?

A: The Sachtler Camera Rollpak includes dividers to help support the bag and give it rigidity as well as organize the gear that you carry in the backpack. Please note that the dividers can be customized and moved.

Q: 8. Is this considered a carry-on?

A: The Sachtler Camera Rollpak is 21.3 x 14.2 x 12.8". Most domestic airlines only allow a maximum of 22 x 14 x 9". This is larger than most airlines allow. Best check the with the airline regarding your specific flight as the requirements can vary.

Q: 9. How many dividers are included? I have 5 lenses, & a Nikon Z6iii, plus media cards to insert.

A: The Sachtler Camera Rollpak includes 1 long divider, 1 medium divider, and 2 short dividers.

Q: 10. How many dividers come with it? Would this be good for a Canon C300 and lenses?

A: The Sachtler Camera Rollpak comes with 5 dividers. It's interior dimensions of 21.3 x 14.2 x 12.8 (54 x 36 x 32.5 cm) is slightly larger then the backpacks we list with the Canon C300 Mark II. I would think then it should be fine. Fitting bags and cases virtually is tricky. While I feel you will be fine, know that you can return this bag if it does not work for you.

I may have gotten a body that was simply a return. The shutter actuation count was 3 (three), when I checked. My understanding is that Nikon does not reset the counter. Any way, it was a good price when I bought. Of course four months later Nikon dropped the price of new by $400, but that's the way things go. 5

I decided to upgrade from a Nikon D7500 to this version to improve the wildlife photos I have been making. This camera has done a fantastic job in dramatically improving the sharpness and detail in my photos. I am extremely pleased with its performance! 5

I've had the camera for almost three weeks. I spent a few hours going through settings to suit my style of shooting and getting familiar with the camera. I shoot mainly wildlife, mostly birds. I mounted my Tamron 150 t0 600 mm G2 lens. My first picture was a goldfinch siting on my birdfeeder. The autofocus was incredibly fast. No hunting just immediate sharp focus. I was amazed by the resolution. I'm so pleased. It does well in relative low light. Ergonomically it well designed. It fits in my hand like it was made especially for me. The AF-on button is positioned perfectly. I don't have to hunt for it. It is set up perfectly for back-button focusing.I miss fewer shots. I was concerned about the weight, but actually I don't mind the heft. It works fine for handheld shots. I love this camera. I will provide updates when appropriate, but so far so good. 5
