A: Mine does not get hot at all and it's remarkably quiet.

A: To set up Raid 1 on the G-Technology G-RAID 20TB 2-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array (2 x 10TB), you have to download the G-Technology Assistant Utility.

A: It will not slow anything down, Thunderbolt 3 has plenty of bandwidth left even using two of them in RAID 0 or RAID 1.
