The T3240CS 4-Section Carbon Fiber Shooting Tripod from Sunwayfoto is designed to provide the functionality demanded by serious hunters and shooters. The tripod will support up to 55 pounds of gear, with 360° rotation and 35° tilt ranges. Its locking ball head is embedded for a low center of gravity that enhances stability.

The twist locks on the tripod's four-section legs are silicone-wrapped for comfortable grip and sealed against the elements. Specially designed tube shims with threaded connectors maximize leg rigidity while preventing loosening, and the legs are vented for smooth extending and retracting. The legs can be set at 23°, 55°, or 85°. Mounting holes for 3/8" and 1/4" screws are provided for attaching accessory gear. The tripod is compatible with M-LOK QR plates, Picatinny Arca adapters, and support mounts, and comes with both rubber feet and stainless steel spikes for solid traction in any terrain.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I attach a fluids base?

A: If you have a tripod fluid head that has a flat base with either 1/4-20 or 3/8″-16 female threads on bottom the base, then yes, the fluid head may be used with the Tiltall Tripod BM-868 4-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod.

Q: 2. Will the Manfrotto MVH500AH fluid head mount to this tripod?

A: Yes the Robus RCC-5560 Vantage Series C 4-Section Carbon Fiber Compact Tripod can be used with the Manfrotto MVH500AH fluid head.

Q: 3. Considering the Robus RCC-5560 for Nikon D500 & D6 w/up to 300mm f/2.8 v2 lens. Would this be "safe" setup with right head?

A: Yes, the Robus RCC-5560 Vantage Series C 4-Section Carbon Fiber Compact Tripod has a load capacity of 55 lb. This can easily hold the Nikon D500 or D6 DSLR Cameras with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/2.8G ED VR II Lens.

Q: 4. Will the Gitzo GS3313GS Geared Center Column fit this tripod?

A: No, the Robus RCC-5560 Vantage Series C 4-Section Carbon Fiber Compact Tripod is not compatible with the Gitzo GS3313GS Geared Center Column.

Q: 5. Product info says it has a bubble level, yet I don't see one in the pictures. Where is it?

A: No, the Robus RCC-5560 Vantage Series C 4-Section Carbon Fiber Compact Tripod BH #RORCC5560 • MFR #RCC-5560 does not have a bubble level.

Q: 6. Does it come with the ballhead shown in one of the pictures?

A: The Robus RCC-5560 Vantage Series C 4-Section Carbon Fiber Compact Tripod does not include a head. The Robus RTH-1030 Triple Action Ball Head, BH #RORTH1030, is a good option.

Q: 7. Does this come with a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter for the bottom thread?

A: Yes. The bottom is 3/8's with an adapter to make it 1/4. The top is 1/4 and it comes with an adapter to make it 3/8. I use the 1/4 adapter in the bottom and use the 1/4 thread in the top as it comes. I don't think I will need the 3/8 adapter for the top, but having them makes the product very versatile. The picture shows both adapters but you can't tell what they are.

Q: 8. I am going on an Alaskan cruise through the Interior Passage. Four ports. Helicoper ride/dog sled run. Canon 5d Mark IV. Heaviest lens 24-105. Do you think this will work as a general lightweight all-around? Senior lady who wants an easy way to take photos without shaking using different lens. Thank you!

A: One of the great advantages of today's digital cameras is the very high ISO ratings they have. With these high ISO's, you can shoot at a commensurate high shutter speed. Shooting at 1000, 2000, 3000 shutter speed should negate mild and even moderate shake. Of course, if you have a muscular condition that creates more than a moderate shake, then yes, I think this is a good suggestion. It is light, compact even with the three little legs. It will be good even on board ship. Of course, you will not need it for the helicopter or dog sled. I would also recommend a monopod head. This will allow tilt up and down while the monopod is up and down with the legs deployed. Here is a affordable one: Oben VH-R2 Tilt Head for Monopods B&H # OBVHR2. Here is a mid level quality example: Induro TH2 Tilt Head for Monopods B&H # INTH2. Both of these heads have Arca-Swiss type quick releases. That is to say, the included quick release is a desirable industry standard which allows instant on and off the head. Have fun and don't take any wooden pictures.

Q: 9. Looking for a solid tripod for Astro photograpghy. Would this be a good replacement for my manifrotto 190pro?

A: The Robus RCC-5560 Vantage Series C 4-Section Carbon Fiber Compact Tripod with a compatible ball-head is a solid tripod for astrophotography and is a good replacement for the Manfrotto 190Pro tripod.

Q: 10. What is the diameter of the spider? I'm wondering if my RRS BH-55 will fit without interfering with the leg locks, or if the 5558 legs would be a better fit.

A: The platform measures 61.4mm / 2.41". We tested it with the RRS BH55 and unfortunately, the leg lock does bump into the BH55 at its widest leg angle
