A: When the Sekonic L-308X-U is in Cordless Flash metering mode, once you press the meter button and the flash symbol on the light meter begins to blink, you have 90 seconds to take your light meter reading. The ISO and the shutter speed should be set to the ISO/shutter speed you plan to use for your image. Instead of pressing the [TEST] button on the rear of the Profoto B10 strobe, you should trigger the flash normally by pressing the shutter button on your camera connected to a Profoto AirTTL remote trigger so the flash fires as the full preset output power, as the [TEST] button will not always fire the flash at full power. Make sure the Profoto B10 is set to [Manual] flash output, not [TTL] output, as the Sekonic L-308X U does not read TTL flash output. If you do the above and you are still having issues with your light meter, you may contact Sekonic directly by e-mailing them at support@sekonic.com or by calling them at 914-347-3302.
