This is my best & favorite build by far, everything works so well. Now on my forth Asus MB build, I decided to go ROG all the way. Included in my build, Rog Strix RTX3060-ti Graphics, ROG Ryujin 360 AIO Cooler, & a ROG Thor 850 PSU. Soooo fast, (28 sec from a dead cold boot, Including PW) to a full working Windows 10. Wow-ser... Now this is the way a computer is suppose to boot-up. Love It!

Certainly, it is a well-built board. This was my first PC build and this was a big part of it. The only issue was when peeling off the protective film off of the NVME heatsinks caused the actual foam to peel off with it, so be careful. Also wish the documentation provided also included a BIOS manual, but that was easy to find online. Windows 11 install went perfectly even with the default drivers for Wi-Fi, so that was handy. Still have not gone thru all the Armory Crate software yet, other than making sure all the drivers were up-to date.

this is the first motherboard that I have ever bought to build my first pc. I gutted my Alienware r13 and this mobo is better in every way. the r13 overclocked was slower than this mobo using default settings. it would score about 25500k in r23 default and overclocked it did 26200k. with the z690e gaming Wi-Fi default settings scored 27400k and overclocked with AI it did 27900. with a few tweaks it did 28500k. I'm sure I could get it to do more but I use it for gaming. also the default ram setting was 4400mhz in the r13 and in the ASUS mobo default it ran 4800mhz and overclocked the ram to 6000mhz even though there wasn't an xmp profile. it wasn't stable but with adding a little voltage it is. the build list is Helios case12900kf z690e gaming Wi-Fi 64gb ddr5 Hynix 2t ssd crucial p5 6900xt on water custom water loop 2x360mm rads xd5 pump psu RM850x. I'm never buying dell again.

I have been building computer systems for others for years, so this was the first time I have ever focused on a build for myself. Most of the systems I built were in the enterprise space, so RGB was never a contributing factor until now. The board is very well laid out and labelled(though the USB3 header was a bit tricky to get the front panel connector of my GT501 seated properly without bending the plastic surrounding it slightly). Set up was very simple and straightforward. The motherboard needed a BIOS update immediately, but due to the fact that this is a 12 gen Intel board and the processors haven't been out that long, this is neither surprising, nor a bad thing. I have had absolutely zero problems so far and to be honest, I'm not expecting any in the near future.

The host of features is large and the apps are very good. The VRM plastic cover height interfaces with most CPU air coolers.
