A: Balance is key to successfully operating this or any gimbal. Before shooting you must make sure that it is perfectly balanced as shown in the instructions for the gimbal. It will not be properly balance until when the unit is turn off and you turn the camera in any direction, it stays there. A: The DJI Ronin S has the payload capacity to stabilize the Canon C100 and lens but because of the design it's often easier to balance a 2-handed gimbal like the DJI Ronin M or MX with the C100. If you remove the side-grip and top handle the Ronin S should be a good fit after proper balancing.
