Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How long has yours lasted?

A: Only used it 2-3 times. Still have it and still use it.

Q: 2. Does this fit for the canon 5D mark3 with 16-35 f2.8 mark2 lens (82mm thread)? Thanks.

A: The Canon EOS 5D Mark III will fit in the DiCAPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case, but the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Lens is too large and vignetting will be a problem. You should lenses with a filter size no larger than 72mm and no wider than 24mm.

Q: 3. Does this fit a 5d mk2 with a canon 24-105 L lens?

A: The Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR Camera with 24-105mm Lens will fit in the DiCAPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case.

Q: 4. Will this fit on a Sony A7R II? Will it fit with a battery grip?

A: The Sony A7R II will fit in the DiCAPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case. You could use lenses that are 2.0 (50mm) to 6 (150mm) long. You can NOT use the camera with the battery grip.

Q: 5. Will this fit Nikon D4 with 24-70mm lens?

A: Don't know, have only used it with a Canon 70D and a Canon 18-135mm and a Tamron 28-75mm.

Q: 6. I see the export compliance notification. Can I bring this case with me on a trip to Greece?

A: This unit is easily packable and does not contain metal. We took it into Canada and it received a workout when we took it through Niagara Falls. It kept my camera dry and gave us some great shots. I would recommend it. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Q: 7. Does this work with the Nikon D5 with a 16-35mm lens?

A: No, the Nikon D5 with a 16-35mm lens would not be a good fit for the DiCAPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case.

Q: 8. Can you attach a tripod to to the case?

A: No you can't.The case is meant to be for use underwater, meaning that it is fully sealed.

Q: 9. best lens recommendation? preferably not a zoom ( using a 6dm2 with grip)

A: I would recommend the Canon 35mm f/2, click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/2CwtqCG I don't think you will have much success using the grip, it will be a tight fit and the camera controls will be out of alignment in relation to the housing.

Q: 10. Will it fit for nikon d850???

A: I can say that it fit a Canon 5d with a long lens

Nice HD camcorder. I use canon 5D mark II. I feel the settings for this camcorder are easy to navigate. The only dropback you need is to buy additional battery (like the BP-819).

I use this camera for both family/ home videos and my own personal video projects which are more creative/travel projects. The camera works very well for both applications. It's small enough to carry easily for family outings but also has the features and images quality necessary for more professional use.

I researched extensively before deciding on purchasing the Vixia HFS10. The competing Sony model's GPS tagging is an intriguing feature, but after a bad experience with my previous Sony HDV (HDR-HC7, which lasted about 2 years), I decided to give Canon a try. On one of the professional review sites, this model was rated in the top 5, behind much more pricier and pro-heavy models. The Panasonic equivalent model had not been released at the time of my purchase, though the projected price was going to be much more than this Canon model. Therefore, this HFS10 is a terrific value buy for all the features. After using it now for 2 months, I must say I love the Canon. First, good riddance to the digital tape technology. It is great not to have to deal with tapes and the mechanism of winding and rewinding tapes. I'm convinced that's what shortened the life of my old Sony. The ease of taking the flash drive out and plugging it directly into my desktop, makes the files transfer a breeze. Not having a viewfinder is a bummer, but short of this, I have no other negative comments about this Canon. I am also a repeat customer of B&H and have always had a great shopping experience with them. Their video demo of this model and the competing Sony is what made my decision more difficult, but at the end, rewarding.

Versatile, you can record your videos in the internal hard drive, or if u prefer u can use an external SD card too. You can also attach different accessories, so this camera has all you need to do an excellent job. A great camera for the price.

I use the HF S10 for both business and personal use and have found it to be very dependable, easy to operate with excellent quality video. Each year I make family videos and it has become something the family looks forward to at the holiday gatherings. I recently bought my 2nd VIXIA HF S10 after checking out the new cameras on the market , I felt there was no reason to change based on my the satisfaction from my first camera.

Camera is great, amazing video and picture quality, abundant features and options to fine tune the most specific of films types. Love the custom wheel, use it all the time for depth of field and exposure settings. The only thing I would change is the location of the fire-wire port etc. and possibly default lowlight, but this is only a minor inconvenience for a stellar camera. I've had the camera for over a month, primarily for snowboarding attached to the CamCaddie(GREAT COMBO!) and I'm still learning new things, the possibilities are endless!

...I bought the Refurb/Used HF S10 (only available this way from B&H as the item is marked discontinued now) and I will let you know that the item looks great and functions like new.Comes in a box that is marked refurbished and it also has used sticker on it. My unit was unsealed, but that didn't bother me as the internal contents were still sealed....
