This 55mm IR Black Red MRC Basic Filter #830/093 from B+W is a full intensity infrared filter that blocks the complete visible light spectrum, enabling image recording of the pure IR light range without visible red. The black and white contrasts are higher than those produced by dark-red IR filters.

The filter is made of precision German optical glass, each side featuring seven layers of Broadband coating for high contrast pictures with minimal residual reflection and uniform light transmission. The brass filter ring features an enhanced knurling pattern for improved grip and a special functional coating for smooth mounting and dismounting. The ring features front threads, and its low-profile design makes it suitable for use with wide-angle lenses.

Q: 1. does this camera have the ability to do bracketing?

A: The Nikon D3200 does not have bracketing.

Q: 2. Does this camera come with a memory card or do I need to get one separately?

A: It does. I picked up an extra one in case I filled it while traveling.

Q: 3. Hi there, does this Model D3200 have both lenses 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II Lens AND DX NIKKOR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED Lens included in the box (kit)??? it is written here but to make sure before ordering it.I have watched demo-version of UNBOXING in YouTube, but there was not DX NIKKOR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED Lens included in the delivered box of NIKON D3200.

A: Yes, you will receive both the 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses in this bundle with the Nikon D3200.

Q: 4. Can this camera be used for long exposure astroimaging?

A: Yes. As the Nikon D3200 DSLR camera has a Manual mode that has a BULB setting (along with remote shutter releases as indicated under the Remote Control section under the Accessories tab on our website), the camera can be used for long exposures. Do note a remote shutter release and a tripod are recommended for long exposure needs.

Q: 6. Where are these lenses and camera manufactured?

Q: 9. I have this camera and when I try to change settings on the led screen I push set button & the screen go blank..press again screen comes on,but can't change settings.. is this in the wrong mode or is it a malfunction? It works in touch screen but when I turn touch off it will not work.. what do you suggest?

A: The Q/SET button is a customize-able function button and can be set to a commonly used camera setting, such as quick control. The standard default setting for the Q/Set button on the SL1 is activation of the quick navigation function for the touch screen. Should your button have been set to a Custom Function CNF, you can reset it via the instructions pg 227. The instructions for setting the Q/SET button can be found on page pg 304 of the user manual for the Canon Rebel SL1. To change other camera settings, you will need to go into the menu settings by selecting the Menu button.

Q: 10. would these lenses produce a high quality image such as in Portraits or do they tend to be little Soft

A: While you can get great quality portraits from either of these lenses, a prime lens will provide a bit more sharpness. Check out the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4G for an excellent portrait lens: http://bhpho.to/1hy71Co
