A: No. But it comes with a battery which lasts about as long as the 600 - which is to say more than long enough to shoot all day unless you use the modelling light a lot - which outside is useless anyway except at night. we have two for our AD600Pro. 2nd battery charges faster than 1st battery drains, so infinite power as long as you have somewhere to charge, and more than enough power to shoot 12 hours without access to one.
