A: You need the DJI Ronin-S Multi-Camera Control Cable (Micro-USB Type-B) for the 90D, BH #DJCPRN001101. However there is no option for the 7D Mark II as this time.

Q: 2. Does the Ronin S works with Canon 6D?

A: You will be able to balance and shoot with the Canon 6D and 6D Mark II on the Ronin-S. However the original 6D is not on DJI's compatibility list regarding electronic functionality. https://bit.ly/2S6yT9s

Q: 3. Does it have a low angle mode?

A: If by low angle mode you mean being able to point to camera straight down or more, yes. You can accomplish this by holding Ronin-S upside down and flipping around the tilt arm.

Q: 4. Will the record button functions be supported on the canon 80d?

A: Yes the Ronin S has that compatibility with that camera.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with the Leica D-Lux Type 109?

A: Though I don't have information on this specific camera, there shouldn't be an issue mounting it to Ronin-S. However, there currently isn't compatibility of shutter/start-stop, follow focus, etc.

Q: 6. Will this gimbal work with sony z 90?

A: The Ronin-S has an 8 pound load capacity and a slanted back motor. You should be able to balance a camcorder like the Z90 on this gimbal. You may need to remove the XLR top handle from the Z90 for it to balance and may have a limited range of motion when compared to using a Mirrorless or DSLR camera on the gimbal.

Q: 7. The USB-C connection on this, is it able to carry video or is it just a replacement for a regular usb-3.1 connection? Since not all USB-C are the same it is important to know exactly which it is.

A: The USB-C connection on the Ronin-S is not for video.

Q: 8. The camera compatibility list shows the Canon 6 series as supported - however, in the package, I cannot find a cable that works with the Canon 6D MK II. Does it?

A: Hey David. We've added start/stop and video recording compatibility with the 6D using the included RSS-IR cable.

Q: 9. Is this gimbal weather sealed?

A: The Ronin-S is not waterproof or water resistant. Although we do not recommend any contact with water without external protection, the Ronin-S will not immediately break when in contact with light moisture. Water damage is not covered under warranty.

Q: 10. Do you need the app in order to balance/use this or the Ronin M, or does it just help fine tune?

A: The App is not required to balance this gimbal. However it is very helpful to use for fine tuning.
